Bill Simmons sums up the last 35 terrible years of the Warriors franchise, good stuff:

I'm looking forward to reading that piece. That 2006-07 Warriors team was so fun, it's a shame how awful they've been seemingly every other year, their fans deserve better.

Jeremy Tyler starting for GS. I hated that decision to sell him last yr. Sure, he's not doing anything with this starting gig yet, but how many times do you get a crack at a 6'10" 20 yr old with upside potential in rd 2, when you know you want your team to suck short term anyway? Was good cash, but just seemed like a stupid decision and still does.

I assume that money helped facilitate Bismack's buyout. If so, I'd sell that pick 30 times out of 30

Who do you guys have winning the NBA Championship this year?

I've got the Heat. My buddy's got the Thunder.

I still think they lack that vetern experience/savvy/guile (outside of Fisher?) and they lack low-post scoring (or scoring from any of their bigs)... but they are looking really strong so far this season.

I kind of hope Heat would win their first rings not sooner than Nash join them (that should erase most of the hate) and takes a lot of their legacy as two times MVP.

Nope. That would just make me hate Nash.

I think that the Heat-Bulls Eastern Finals are a lock and the team that wins that series is the champion. Thunder are the most likely team (might not happen though, the West will be so fun during post-season) to head out of West and I just don't see them winning a 7-game series against any of those two teams. Same goes for the rest of the Western conference.

One was a pretty blatant offensive foul. I don't like how he can just smash someone's face so long as he looks good doing it. Keep that **** in the dunk contest if you want it so bad...

I know, I just don't like Gasol and his constant whining.

Yeah I've defended his fending off before, but its getting worse.

If a defender smashed him in the face while he was going for a dunk it would be a flagrant.
Whats the difference?

The defender isn't on the highlight reel or getting youtube views I guess.

Ray has been ballin' since Portland got rid of the point guard-killer.
Humble yourself.
