Was it just me or was Watson trying to throw the game. That last turn over before he was taken out looked intentional to me. I even saw Corbin stare him down as he went to the bench.

Yeah I saw that.. Watson did not play well... airball 3/fouling in the process of shooting a 3.. turnovers..

Good game guys! It was very entertaining and it helped secure our lottery position. Now if New Jersey doesn't get lucky, we could have two lotto picks! :D

Watson was horrible today. Good thing Felton was even worse. Loved the big line up with Paul at the 3. Paul dominated on the offensive end and we actually did pretty good on defense too. Hope we see it more often.

Good game to you too! I thought we were going to see a total repeat of the Clippers game (Mass 3's and alley oops all night.. the Zone your coach put in really slowed down Milsap/Favors/Jefferson. Our outside shooting is a problem (not Hayward) and our point guard play is.. not the best which is why most of us are excited to see Tinsley in instead of Watson.

I don't think Felton was all that bad as everyone was saying.. long as he's under control and creates for others.. course I haven't been watching him lately but long as he's under control creating shots for others and playing "D" I'd be happy with him..

I felt like this was giftwrapped to us, Felton had two unforgivable turnovers late in the game that killed his team. Jefferson was trying to give it back by shooting the jazz out of the game. What did he miss like 5 of his last 6 shots in the fourth quarter? Al was terrible out there. Luckily the jazz have Paul Millsap to carry the team.

Is Portlands NJ draft pick a one year all or nothing sorta deal? Or will they get it next year of it doesn't qualify this year

Of course, we can't beat Sacramento, but we beat Portland in Portland......

Tinsley plays, we win, it's as easy as that.......

I'd argue Bell was indeed coddled for quite a while before things finally blew up.

Bell was actually playing fairly well before he was injured. He played 6 games since then, preforming at least better than CJ Miles, and hasn't played any since. I hardly count that as coddling.

I missed the game but I read somewhere that Millsap played the 3 for most of the night. Is that true? :o

Yes, it was a great move by Corbin. He dominated, much to the chagrin of many that hate him around these parts.

We get a 1st rounder from them no matter what. If the Nets land a top 3 pick, then next year it's top 2 protected. If the Nets get lucky again, then in 2014, it's top 1 protected. Then if by chance they land the number one pick that year, it's unprotected in 2015.

He looked very natural there, I said last year that's where he should play - hopefully he gets the chance to stay there for some stretches every game (not necessarily full time).

BJSmiles and babyjax13, thanks for the info.

i'd love to Jefferson-Favors-Millsap frontcourt with Hayward as a SG from time to time. That would give Favors enough minutes but also help us win games with Jefferson and Millsap still getting their minutes.

P.S. sorry to bump to two day old thread.
