When you type it wrong by mistake (finger slip), it is a typo. When you completely get the name wrong (First and last. Who do you know has a name Baren?), you have flawed memory. The later is proving to having more comedic value though.

This. I don't understand why people are putting Baron on the pedestal like he's still in his prime. You can tell people were fooling themselves when they wanted Baron to start over Lin during that bad stretch, well now they got what they wanted. I hope they're going to be happy with what they're seeing, it's karma coming back to y'all giving up on Lin before.

I think you're reading too much into this... Is Baren that different from Baron? People make mistakes like Alonso Morning, Kyrie Erving, etc etc. I meant to type Davis for the last name but look what key is beside S. Just a coincidence it turned so comical I guess

Before there was Jeremy Lin, this fan base dreamed of Baron Davis running our offense. As of right now, we're without Amar'e Stoudemire, but at least we have Baron Davis as our starting PG with a Knicks unit who's not only playing great defense under coach Woodson (memories of the early 90's) but also boarding strong off the glass. Jeremy Lin doesn't make or break this team/franchise, not when we have Baron, J.R Smith, Carmelo, Amar'e, Tyson Chandler, Shumpert, Fields, Novak, Jeffries and Harrellson to lead us deep into the playoffs. Yes, it would be great to add Jeremy Lin into the picture, but when Jeffries alone returns we'll improve in major ways on the defensive end of the court. Once Amar'e returns to action, we'll become a deeper team under coach Woodson. When you have an elite offensive talent, top 5 scorer and dominating wing player in Melo leading the offense... WIth a championship winning Center in Tyson Chandler leading the defense, a defensive beast at that, with a loaded roster full of talent? One 2nd year PG in Jeremy Lin isn't going to ruin the dreams of this team, all because he's currently hurt. Baron Davis has averaged 7.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.3 boards and 1.1 steals per game over the past 6 games. We've gone 4-2. Is he what he once was? No. Is he as elite as a much younger Jeremy Lin? No. But, it could be much worse. We could have Douglas and Bibby as our 1-2 punch. I'm thankful for Baron Davis.

To make a long story short, we don't need for Baron Davis to "replace Jeremy Lin", we need for Baron Davis to do what this fan base asked for before Jeremy Lin arrived on the scene, which is A.) Stay healthy and B.) Help this Knicks team (as our starting PG) move forward from here on out.
