Imagine we won the 2010 lottery.....

And picked John Wall, knowing what we know now about how good certain players are and certain situations like our draft picks and such, how would you build a team around that? Would you still trade for Deron? Perhaps traded Wall for Dwight and try to get Deron/Paul in FA?

Or simply just build around Wall?

How would you build a squad for Brooklyn had we landed John Wall?

No we didn't. There's a reason we picked 10th...

I just remember my feeling after the Nets won 12 games and we ended up with the 3rd pick. Watching that lottery...that was a terrible night.

Wha? We had VC and Devin Harris that year and had 30+ wins.

The John Wall draft was when we had the 12 win season

If we got Wall then we wouldn't have panicked in free agency as much and probably would have gotten Rudy Gay. He resigned when we stupidly got luke warm on him waiting for the big 3.

Wall - Gay - Lopez would have been our core to build around - then probably would have added either Nene or Chandler this past year.
