Lou Amundsen is a more effective player than Tyler. With Hill and Borbosa, Tyer's ability to score isn't as important. Scoring is the only thing Tyler does better than Lou.

Play a lot better than he had been. He's been great these past two games. Hopefully he keeps it up and we go into the playoffs hot.

^^^ I love Lou's energy, hops, and underrated toughness.

He has definitely earned his minutes, moreso than anyone else on the roster.

Bigups to DJones too.

He's been good since ASB, since then he's been a 19-6 guy on 45-40, and he's just been improving it these past 10 games. He's always a slow starter, but he's got his shooting percentage to nearly .41 and for the last 10 he's been damn near over 50.

Thing about Granger is he plays and old-school game too, age won't effect him so much. I'm very against trading him, he's done alot for us, stuck with us through the bad times, and deserves to enjoy the good times too.

Props to Granger for playing consistently at a very high level now.

I was shocked to read they came back from a 15 points deficit to win the game against the Knicks, until I saw DC and Hibbert were benched the entire 4th quarter.
Still shocked Lou did so great, but it makes a lot more sense now having watched the previous 2 games.

I hope this will be the end of Vogels overprotecting them.
Players who are doing great shouldn't be benched and struggling players should.
If it is grey in stead of black and white, I can understand he sticks with his routine.
I only wish it would turn black for him sooner than almost 3 blowout losses.

it wasn't about overprotecting anyone. it was about matching down to a small lineup. the Knicks were playing Melo at the 4 and we eventually went with a similar lineup with Danny at 4. I'm not sure why it took us so long to try it. in his post game presser Vogel said he'd been thinking about it for two days ever since he heard before the Houston game that the Knicks had gone small. I guess we just say better late than never and let it go at that.

it was not about DC or Roy playing poorly. it was about getting more speed on the floor so that we could match up and stop giving them wide open threes on kick outs after we'd helped inside. I suppose you could say it was about West and Hansbrough sitting. Barbosa played the two and Dahtay and Paul the three.

You are right. Darren and Roy weren't even that bad yesterday. Lou was just too good :D
And it helped that Melo was never looking for a pass after Chandler set a screen for him.

I don't want us the play smallball, but I don't say no to more speedball.
