If we draft Davis, let D-Will walk. Go sign Dragic and E.Gordon and re-sign Crash.

That's a nice team.

Mediocre, 42-45 wins, 2nd round at best...

Might be a 2nd round team next year at best but with a 19 year old in Davis, 23 year old stud SG and Lopez being 24 thats a young team that would only get better.

If D Will walks we have to go offer Gordon the max, he's the only good free agent in this class.

Without D Will and being completely cautious, without a top 3 pick a team core of Gordon, Wallace and Lopez really isnt the worst in the league. I know, I know its not great but there is some quality there to build on. But if D Will leaves and we dont get Davis id rather give up our pick this season to Portland around 7 to late lotto because next season we will suck.

We basically have to pray for a miracle to land the first pick. Davis changes everything and regardless of what D Will says we should do on draft night, if we trade Davis, no matter who it's for, I'll be pissed.

several points:

- Blake Griffin is actually an undersized PF. He gets away with it based on his athleticism. He doesnt have a refined post game. He faced up and drives to the hoop or tries to bully jump mini hook. His defense is average.

- KG is not a top 20 all time player.

- If the Nets get the 1st pick, they should be able to trade for DHoward without giving up more true assets or getting back bum contracts. Orlando by no means are assured to have DH12 beyond next season. They cannot want to go through this drama again, and Davis would be the best potential offer out there. At this point they are not winning the east with Howard and that cast and they are inflexible with the current contracts. With Davis they can rebuild and begin creating a new roster to compete with.

- DH12 and Brook Lopez are better complements than Davis and Brook.

- That said, if the Nets got the 1st pick, I wouldnt trade for Howard, I would rebuild

Well, if the Magic are willing to trade Howard for Davis on draft night, then you have to do that trade. If they want to play the waiting game again, which I see no reason for them not to (since it worked out last time), then you don't entertain the thought anymore. Because unless a Davis for Howard trade happens on draft night, Deron's gone. I'm not even sure LMA or Love or Smith keeps him at this point. The only guy that can is Howard. If he ends up leaving because we didn't land Howard on draft night, then screw it, hang up on the Magic if they call us up around trade deadline and ask about Davis. That's the guy we build our future around from that point on.

But that's assuming we get Davis obviously...I'd be ECSTATIC if we got him.

I see no case for the following over KG:

-Isiah
-Moses
-Baylor
-West
-Havlicek
-Cousy
-Pippen
-Reed
-Frazier
-McHale
-Gervin
-Walton
-Barry

Seriously, WTF? How are any of those guys ranked ahead of him? Please don't tell me "championships"...that's the lamest reasoning. KG is miles ahead of a lot of those guys as a player, and even if it's a small difference, he's still clearly better than any of them.

He's easily a top 20 player ever, can't believe you're actually arguing this.

Not having a refined post game and relying on athleticism doesn't make a 6'10'' 251 pound man undersized at the four.

Seriously? All the bolded players are not better than KG and that's pretty much top 10 which I have no qualms about. KG is a once in a generation player, his combination of skills and athleticism for a big man is just incredible. It wasn't PROBABLY until this draft that we have a player with similar skill sets (albeit very raw) to KG. If Duncan never won that many rings in SA, you could argue that KG is the best PF of all time. He was that good and still is that good.

Griffin is around 6'8" but he is well built. He is of similar height with Carlos Boozer, Kevin Love and Paul Millsap. They are all considered undersized power forwards. He is noticeably shorter than Pau Gasol, Chris Bosh, Dirk Nowitzki, LaMarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and Serge Ibaka.

Moses Malone was a more dominant player in his era than Garnett. Malone had 3 MVPs and years he was the best player in the league. Garnett even in his MVP year was not considered the best player in the league. In his first 12 years, with his team, he was able to get out of the first round in the playoffs just once.

Moses is a very overrated player, part of the "big numbers, low impact" crowd. Very unimpressive team lift...an old, out of prime Dr. J had more impact than Moses. KG is the highest impact player of this generation.

And KG was clearly the best player in the league in 04.

The only guys I rank ahead of KG are Jordan, Russell, Kareem, Magic, Hakeem, Duncan, Shaq, Bird, Wilt, Kobe, Oscar, and Dr. J.

Howard is getting booed while taking free throws.

What happened today was just insane, Howard was basically exposed as a Judas, lying to the media & public while singing a different tune behind closed doors.

Magic are snow balling at the minute, 1st round exit material.

It's completely possible that Howard demands a trade in the summer as well

Huge news right here!

http://blogs.courier-journal.com/ukbeat ... mmel-live/

JK: How do you feel about that unibrow thing? People have kind of zeroed in on your eyebrow and it looks like your mustaches is just growing in to match, but is that something you like?

AD: “Yeah. It’s a funny story. When I first got to Kentucky, guys were like, ‘You need to cut it. It doesn’t look good. You look like Bert off Sesame Street, Bert and Ernie.’ So I was actually thinking, ‘I need to cut this.’ But after a while I decided, ‘It’s me. It’s my brand. I like the way it is.’ So everybody just started embracing it, had T-shirts.”

JK: (Showing several of the popular unibrow shirts.) Here’s a T-shirt, ‘Fear the Brow,’ another one there, the team mascot has one, and this one is the best of all. Tell everyone who this is (woman in unibrow mask).

AD: “That’s my mom.”

JK: Your own mom (laughing). You’re going to keep that forever, is that the plan?

AD: “That’s the plan. Going to keep it forever. No need to cut it.”

JK: No wax for you?

AD: “Nah, not at all.”

JK: Yeah, you know what? You don’t need to eyebrows. One is perfectly fine.

AD: “I’m trying to start a new trend.”
