i don't think it is either and i don't understand why a trade that was agreed upon afterwards gets approved and this one has been in the pending stages for 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Jetset, stfu. I'll approve the deal, but it's not even close to being fair.

Stop being mad all the time. As I've been saying the deals weren't even thought up by me. I literally came to an offer of Ramirez/Luebke for Halladay/Jeter, there wasn't even any negotiating involved. Obviously he feels strong in Hanley, I'm not going to say no to that deal. He proposed this deal, and quite honestly it makes sense reading his explanation. Lawrie is going to have a good year. I don't really see what the issue is as long as the person agrees to the deal. Just like I'm probably about to get ripped off in an upcoming McCutchen deal, but it's what I want to do and it'll fill a need.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I'm not hating on anything but the integrity of this league.

I don't get why this deal got held up at all. In my post, I showed according to where these guys were drafted that the value was extremely close.

I don't understand how with the deals that have gone through a 3rd/7th/11th pick for a 4th/5th pick is such a 'horrible' deal.

I'm done with the whole thing really, we'll see how fast this McCutchen deal gets passed.

Considering you are using draft position as some kind of reasoning shows how little you know about your actual trade.

Anyways, it's approved so lets move on.

No, my other post shows my personal reasoning about everything having to do with the trade, and really I don't see how any of my points were "out there" or unreasonable.

The draft position was the objective inclusion using a draft that was done a week ago using mostly Yahoo's rankings.

If you insist on keeping this going
Felix > Gallardo
Berkman > Lawrie
Young = cherries on top

Felix>Gallardo. Of course but not as big as names suggest when you compare WHIP, K, Ws, 3 of the 5 pitching categories.

Berkman>Lawrie. That's definitely personal biased opinion, or the 5 fantasy baseball player rankings I could find right now must also be as wrong as I am then.

Young= the filler I was never too worried about losing since he was my 2nd Utility guy.

i just want to say that one shouldn't use preseason rankings and draft position as the end all be all or talent judgement

if that were the case why wouldn't the guy with the #1 pick win every year- he's getting the best player
