Wizards sign James Singleton to a 10-day contract

The Wizards are all about reunions these days. After recently bringing back Cartier Martin, they have also now signed James Singleton to a 10-day contract.

Hope he walks in. Slaps John upside the head and say, lets roll.

I know that isn't going to happen but with additional new vet blood like James, maybe Wall will focus a little more on his main job instead of trying to keep up with his fellow second year teammates who are out performing him recently.

They only had 14 roster spots, so they had room for a veteran like Singleton, who averaged 17.8 points & 11.9 rebounds for Guandong Southern Tigers. Singleton has only been back in the United States for four days

Hey, who is that #1 fella standing at half court?

Great to have Singelton back but this game is really about seeing how Wall will bounce back. He's been in a daze lately but he played much better in the 3rd after Witt benched him that long in the 2nd and he just had a negative article written about him which shouldve happened games ago. Maybe all that makes him come out strong tonight.

My only worry is will his head be spinning and is he getting mixed signals. In some ways Witt and fans want him to slow down and play under control more. They think he's trying to do too much. In other ways people want him to play harder & faster with more passion because he seems like he quit and is not trying. IDK what that means for tonight. Will he come out trying to play a cool calm controlled game while passing alot & deffering or will he be mad aggressive with looking for scoring and to dominate the ball & floor.

I dont care if he passes or scores but just do it with some kinda will and looking like youre into the game. He's a pass 1st guy but I do believe we're better when he's looking to score more and being aggressive. Lately he's shooting when he should pass and he's passing when he should shoot. Still, when you get in the lane you have to take those shots. He keeps dumping off or kicking out when he has the better look. Hopefully he puts it all together and ball like he was 10 games ago

Wall has to get stronger next year. He should finish those type of plays. He was full speed with the angle

That's a little nit-picky for a team that is playng 2nd game of 3 and is in tanking mode. And you don't think he's hurt after last night's spill? Maybe he just didn't have the lift and balance to put that through.

This is their 4th game in 5 nights. Fatigue has to be an issue.

Wall reaching on defense and jumping off his feet toward the offensive player again. Exact same thing he did last game and same thing Gil used to do.

Posted the exact same thing last game.

He really needs to fix that.

And my God Cook shoots a line drive. And he is very quick to shoot. Going to have to call him Chuck Jr.
