Game #55: Clippers(32-22) @ Kings(19-35)

Post#1 » by Det the Threat » Thu Apr 5, 2012 5:50 pm

After losing the first game in a while, the Clippers will head north, to face the Sacramento Kings at the back end of a back-to-back set.

The Clippers will need to forget about that emotional loss to the Lakers and try to keep on winning, to keep the pressure up on Kobe and his pals.

Like all the time, rebounding, defense and limiting turnovers will be the keys to the game.

DeMarcus Cousins

DJ has been better lately and will have his hands full trying to contain Cousins, who's coming off a 41 point outing against the Suns.

Our lucky charm for for this one

Five Questions:

Can DJ contain Cousins?
Will Blake throw down some more crazy dunks?
Will CP3 take Thomas to school?
How will Foye do against Evans?
Which plays will Vinny run on offense?

Why are there two gamethreads? @_@

Should be a good match. I predict good defense from our guards.

We didn't play our greatest yesterday and still had a chance to win last night. The recent trend is that we've been playing better. The team just has to be ready and focused to face the Kings. As long as we can defend pretty well the team should be fine.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Earlier in the week, I had a feeling that we would lose this game if we won last night. I still feel like it could go either way, but hopefully we pull it out.

For some reason when I saw how far back Butler was, I felt that he was going to travel when Foye passed him the ball, lol

Often at times, he looks like got away with a travel or was just on the verge of one.

The Kings can be a problem in a year or 2 depending on who they draft.

If I were Smart, I'd have Hayes in the game whenever Griffin was in.

Why did that feel like such a sloppy first half?

I checked the numbers, maybe because it was. 11 turnovers, 41.9% FG, and 25% 3PT! Wow

48-42 at the half. The Bench have outplayed the starters so far.
