I think it would have been a really fun game if it were the same two line ups as last time. This includes Bull's Rose and Knicks' Lin and Stoudemire.

It' should still be a fun game regardless.

We got Toney Douglas.

We should be more worried about Taj Gibson and Noah than Derrick Rose

Last time they destroyed us on the boards, can't let them do it again

Very strange thread. He's a basketball player. Why wouldn't he play if he's healthy. They're trying to secure a 1seed down the stretch.

Don't be too flattered, one way or another. Rose is the kind of guy who'll play when he's ready regardless of who the opponent is and this is right around the expected time from for his return.

I don't care what peeps think about him, but his Adidas Adizero 2.5's are some of the best shoes I've ever played in and they look sick.

My thoughts exactly.

Same with the Magic heading into tonight's matchup, I was glad to see both Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson starting for Orlando tonight. I made it known before the game, there is no reason to fear Dwight Howard when we're featuring a defensive monster in Tyson Chandler. They may have been without Ryan Anderson tonight, but you know what? We dominated them for 4 quarters strong without two starters in Jeremy Lin and Amar'e Stoudemire along with a key role player in Jared Jeffries. We're just the better overall team, record aside. Alot more talented at least.

In regards to the Knicks vs. Bulls game? Some Knick fans have made zero sense inside of this thread. If Rose honestly feels this is an "easy win" for the Bulls, well, then... He wouldn't be lacing up come Sunday, instead? He'd rest up and enjoy an easy Chicago victory. If he does play? Just goes to show that he's worried about the Knicks beating the Bulls, considering the fact that Chicago is only 2 games above Miami for the #1 seed. And lets not act like Rose and the Bulls don't want that #1 seed.

I completely agree with all of this. Watson is an excellent backup and is better in that role than starting. The Bulls would definitely rather play the Bucks than the Knicks in the playoffs because the Knicks are the better team, but this is more about securing the 1seed than trying to affect who gets in. The Knicks will probably get in regardless of whether they win or lose the next couple against the Bulls.

I think the Bulls and Derrick Rose himself wants to play against the Knicks to show them up. OR they do not consider the Knicks to be a good team.

But I really think the reason is to get the Knicks a loss to increase the chances of them being out of the playoff picture (so the Bulls will not have to play a tough 8th seed team)

I think it's pretty obvious he wouldn't havce came back if it wasn't the Knicks. Chicago would much rather have the Bucks in the playoffs and you can't really blame them.

I want to see Shumpert on Rose. I want to see Shumpert being physical with him and Tyson knocking him down every time he gets into the lane.

Knicks need to bring playoff-type intensity to this game and make Rose sorry that he decided to play.

I mean what a punk bitch. What does he have against the Knicks? Has missed games all throughout the season including against the Heat. But c*cksucker needs to come back against us.

I hope there is a lower level of hell reserved for you, you son of a bitch.

why get so upset?... good, let him come back.. i rather beat the bulls with him... No excuses... I think this is great.....

Would you rather play him (four or more times) in the the playoffs where he is well tuned or just once and got it over with? Maybe even getting a loto pick?

Hope he plays, he is a good player, plus melo has been playing great they need someone who can match up scoring wise to stay in the game :).

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.

EDIT: Wait...how many warnings do you already have against your record? Wow.

So make the playoffs or don't and give the Rockets our pick? I'll take the playoffs for 400 Alex.

What are you basing this off on? If Rose was good enough to go a week ago he would have played.

If that's the case then I say bring it. I would rather beat a team with their best player on the court rather than without.
