Coach Savage would have been good for one hell of a half time pep talk.

I've always hated the idea of hiring from within the organization when you perform this lowly. Yeah, a lot of it has stemmed from the lack of talent on the roster, but we need new blood. I'm sure Stephen Silas would make a nice coach elsewhere, but I want to start next season off on a clean slate with someone new.

I'd love to bring in Jeff Van Gundy, but I'd take his brother.

I wouldn't mind this at all to be honest. I'm tired of having a stagnant offense. Pringles would fix that. I just hope he'd let Biyombo do his thing on D instead of trying to rely on him on offense or something stupid like that.

Kenny Smith said this in an interview: http://hoopshype.com/interviews/barrigon/kenny-smith-inevitably-ill-be-coaching-some-day

I think inevitably I'll be coaching some day, I just don't know when. I think that's just inevitable. Or manager. I got some people knock on my door to start coaching, but I've just haven't opened it yet. You know, next year I think I might take a look and see who's knocking.

I'm sure he's a Friend of Mike with the Tarheel connection, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he took the Bobcat's job in the future.

Also, Isiah Thomas is available!

well he did think we're good enough for the playoffs.

that would probably be his pitch "If I was coaching you would have made the playoffs, Maggette would have been the scoring champ, Diop would have been defensive player of the year and Hendo MVP"

and the sweetner "I would have made Higgins 6th man of the year"

The last part is impossible- in this universe the only Higgins that will get an award on the Lolcats is Sr Higgins- and it will be the "Best dad of the year" award at that. Also SVG is a great coach- the guy has been pretty consistent with his success wherever he has gone. That stated the guy I drool over is Larry Drew- I still am yet to figure out how he manages to make that Atlanta squad a playoff team year in and year out, I mean seriously how the **** is Atlanta even in playoff discussions when they have Marquis Teague (the anti- pure point) and Marvin Williams starting- not to mention Joe Johnson is under-performing and they have no true 6th man/doubtful bench depth??? Another great candidate would be Woodson (from NY) as since becoming the man he has shown that he can coach pretty damn well.
