Game 55: Pacers vs Thunder 04/06/12, 7:00 EST
A toughie against the best in the West. Interesting to see how effective Collison is. The Thunder have the size, athleticism, defense, and depth. We're going to have to be on tonight to have a chance.

Great 1st quarter. Now we have to focus on that defense.

Ah, I'm stuck at work and can't watch. All I can do is watch the tracker thing on Pacers.com, but I'm liking what I'm seeing!

Hibbert is a monster...16 pts on 6-7 fg, 5 reb, 4 blocks
I expect to see Granger pick it up in the second half. OKC is going to make a run, lets see what we can do!

This season, with all the other guys, Granger has been able to really shine in the 4th quarter. Perfect timing.

Love the defense at the end of game. Kept it dirty and scrappy.

I'm not going to argue with the result, but I am surprised to see Dahntay Jones not getting more burn. Especially when George fouled out.

Good win for us but tough we blew such a huge lead. I understand the love for Dahntay but personally, the less I see of him each game the happier I am.
PG with 16 rebounds? That give and go with Hibbert was phenomenal, 3rd qtr I believe.

Great win.
Granger 11/23(47.8%) 26pts 6rebs 1ast 2stl 2blk 0to's
Think it's safe to say his slump is over?
He's been insane recently!

YES!
Like I said, I couldn't watch, but followed the game tracker. So we've now defeated...
Lakers, Clippers, Miami (almost twice), Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando, Boston, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Dallas, Houston, Utah, Minnesota (before they were Rubio-less and still a possible playoff team), and now Oklahoma City...plus, we gave San Antonio a heck of a run in their own gym. Could we beat some of those in a 7-game series? Who knows. Do we still lose to teams we shouldn't? Yes (Detroit and Sacramento come to mind), but that happens. Oklahoma City lost to Washington earlier this season for crying out loud!
Anyway, early in the season, a lot of people (non-Pacers fans) said we were so good in part because of our easy schedule early on. We may wind up with a losing record against some of those teams head-to-head during the regular season, but then again - they're supposed to beat us. We've proven we can hold our own and come out on top against the league's elite.
Go Pacers!

We are the third best team in the East. I don't care what Hollinger says.

Amazing game.
I was so glad for all of our players. Danny and Roy with huge games. George with 16 boards. DC with the clutch jumper and 2 FTs. Just amazing.

From the Star:
"Vogel altered his normal playing rotation Friday night to make sure Granger or Paul George was in the game at all times to defend the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant, the league's second-leading scorer, who nonetheless scored 44 points.
That left Dahntay Jones as the odd man out of the rotation. Jones usually checks in for Granger at the start of the second quarter."
