Game #56: Clippers(33-22) vs Kings(19-36)

Post#1 » by Det the Threat » Sat Apr 7, 2012 8:16 am

After beating the Kings at their place, both teams will head to Los Angeles and play the back end of home and home stand between each other.

The Clippers got a great lift by Randy Foye last time around and need to find keep on playing defense, while rebounding and not turning over the ball, if they want to beat the Kings twice in three nights.

Injury Report

Clippers
Chauncey Billups - out for season
Mo Williams - out for this game

Kings
John Salmons
Marcus Thornton

When and Where?

Key Matchup

Randy Foye

vs

Tyreke Evans

Foye has been very good lately and seems to understand his role, while also knowing that he's playing for a new contract. Last time he was able to hang with Evans, who's been not as good as during his rookie season, for the past two seasons.

Our lucky charm for for this one

Five Questions:

Can DJ contain Cousins again?
Who wins the key matchup?
Will we need CP3 to take over late in the 4th quarter this time around?
Can Caron give us a solid offensive outing?
Who will score more points? Our bench or theirs?

Discuss and Go Clips Go!!!

What I'm looking forward is how Blake responds to Cousins comments about the wind fouling him and him being babied by the NBA.

Need to win this one!

I'm also wondering how the Blake and Cousins matchup will go. The whole team needs to step up and play much better against the Kings. We don't have many home games left and we need to take advantage tonight. Also I think Mo is supposed to be back in the lineup tonight.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Mo is not ready to go yet and will sit this one out.

lol Paul is crazy a little immature though but guess everyone is getting sick of the hate on our team. I for damn sure thought everyone would be behind the Clippers being good

Interesting little war of words but I like that Griffin doesn't wanna get involved, hope he responds on the court today and plays a lot better against Cousins than last game.

That was me yesterday, still not feeling too great today, but I'm alive.

Should be a fun game, and it will be interesting to see how Blake and Cousins play. What happened to Chuck Hayes, he was playing last game?

Randy Foye.

Great to see him playing so well, and good to see Griffin aggressive early

Good start for us, can't let the Kings come back in this one. Just need to take them out early.
