CCJ, I might have to pick up your boy Novak, because I have Amare, and I suspect he's going to be out for a while. It actually works well for my team, because I need 3's more than anything else. Oh, and of course I have Cousins. He's been doing great - other than turnovers.

Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard key as San Antonio beats Kings

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=320328023

K. Leonard 19 Pts, 9 Reb, 2 Ast, 2 Steals - 3 of 4 3-pointers. The playoffs are gonna be good this-year.

Demarcus Cousins is starting to beast.

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/4258 ... us-cousins

Also, SA has it rolling. They still have a shot at being the best team in the league.
Interesting to see they play LA 3 times between now and the end of the season.Other then that, they dont have that hard of a schedule export Boston which is their next game.

Pops is a smart man resting them during the season. Dont count out SA for a title.

GSW are starting to play Jeremy Tyler, last night he fell 1 point short of a double-double. Great value for where Tyler was picked.

What is exciting is now he's hitting more shots and he is back to being a good passing big man over the past month. In last night's 41/12 game Cousins shot 16/25 FG and 9/14 FT.

His past 7 or 8 games he's been very dominating offensively.

Cousins' PER is 22.1. His WS/48 is approaching 6 times higher than it was last season. He has improved in almost every category since his rookie season. Cousins' per-36 averages are now 21.5 points and 13.5 rebounds. Cousins is the #1 offensive rebounder in the NBA.

Yes, he's better than Wall right now, Ji.

If/when Cuz gets his efficiency numbers decent, he'll be a stud. They're still bad now - the TS% is 49, and the EFG is 44. That's an E for EFG, but there's progress being made. And I needed those 41 points to stay a half point ahead of 2nd place in my fantasy league.

Never thought I'd see the day where I would see two people comparing a center to a point guard.

Wow...you guys are easily impressed. So Cousins put up big numbers against a terrible defensive team in April. Well if that's the case, the Andray Blatche of March and April of 2010 = MVP.

No surprise the Kings lost the game either. It's clear that that team has no identity or character whatsoever...it's a bunch of guys looking to pad their stats. At least the Wizards are slowly morphing into a team oriented, tougher-minded, defensive bunch. The kings are comprised of a bunch of losers who will manage to get their coach fired a few times before their FO realizes that their roster consists of statpadding losers.

Hornets win!!!

Meanwhile, McGee has been playing pretty terrible for Denver lately. Karl never gives him any minutes down the stretch, and deservedly so.

Cousins got them back in the game. Nash and the perimeter players won the game for the Suns. The game before, Cousins outshot and out rebounded Kevin Love, in a Kings win. Also, the Kings beat Utah in Utah where Cousins put up good numbers.

Cousins has a lot of flaws and I'm not saying he's great just yet. However, don't say he loses games for the Kings and ignore the games he helps them win. If Tim Duncan is impressed, that says it all IMO.

You conveniently left out the Nets game before the Wolves game where he was benched for missing shots and getting schooled by Johan Petro.

It's also no surprise that when he does manage to put up numbers, the Kings usually lose. It's because he's a low efficiency statpadder who offers nothing defensively. Cousins has one legitimate skill--rebounding--the rest of his game ranges from mediocre (offense) to downright awful (defense). I'm not going to even mention his piss poor attitude...that's for another day.

It reflects very poorly of Dwight Howard's character that he's playing so passively today against the Knicks.

It's almost halftime and he's 0/2 from the floor with 0 points and 5 rebounds. It's not a coincidence this terrible game comes immediately off the interaction he had with Stan Van and the media today.

Seems like a spoiled kid right now.

....and now it's too-late, he opted-in. Perhaps he has a promise that SVG will be fired after this season is over.

SVG doesn't even give an **** that interview was awkward but hilarious. He knows he is gone and isn't quitting.

Howard moved into spot two of my NBA players whom I absolutely cannot stand. Only topped by the chokin' one of course.

Memphis are crushing Miami. They have also taken down some other team with top records on the road.

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=320406014

Finally saw a little of Gil. He nailed a couple 3s while I was watching. He is fouling a lot. Doesnt seem to be as quick as most the players on the floor but spotting up and hitting them. He is 4-5 from 3 for the game.

That was the one thing I didnt understand from his other returns. I never got how he lost so much of his 3 ball game when it was so effortless for him before. Always figured he would find a roll shooting 3s for someone.

With the Wiz having an off night, should be fun to watch Dallas tee up against Mem

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=320407029

Plus we get to see McGee vs Jeremy Tyler and David Lee. That should be fun.

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=320407009

Plus Clippers vs Kings on back to back against each other where Cousin called out LaQueen Blake
http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=320407012

What a line up of games. Gil, Nick and McGee
