Today he tried but I mean, softness gets you nowhere

Exactly softness never wins championships and never will.

Pau Gasol wins championships.

Who does Pau Gasol have next to him rebounding ? lol :) Bynum he had Odom better rebounders than we have. Pau Gasol at least is averaging almost 10 or 11 rebounds a game he is pulling his weight while Bosh is not so far. Who do we have next to Bosh rebounding Anthony or Turiaf who combined make barely 10 or 11 rebounds. When Haslem in line up with Bosh well he averages about 8 but at times its still not good enough when we face the big teams. If Bosh cannot pull his weight rebounding we are in for it. We win as a team but Bosh is the key in the paint for us this season if not could happen like last year we lost in Finals because getting beat on boards due we had soft Z & soft Bosh in the paint Marion out rebounded LeBron too.

My main thing is I don't care if he gets 10 rebounds or not. It's just...BOX OUT then. Just get in someone's way so the guys on our team that do rebound can have a chance. He ball watches way too much for a guy who never gets the rebound. I mean what is he even looking at?

Your main thing is that you do not really see how these BIG teams are beating us. In championship Bball you win in the half court if he cannot rebound we are done its simple remember what happened in Finals last year against Dallas Chandler killed us on the boards that was one of the reasons we lost. Memphis last night killed us on the boards, Lakers in a potential finals showdown can maybe kill us on the boards with Bynum/Gasol, San Antonio with Duncan & Blair can also beat us on the boards. Chicago can kill us on the boards as well. OKC beat us on the boards the first game the second game we beat them on the boards. Rebounding is key we need Bosh to step it up if he does not will be kaos for us. Remember for our offense to be successful our defense has to be first and rebounding is part of that to ignite fast break also our perimeter defense causing turnovers etc. We also need to not have so many turnovers. Bosh is soft he even admits he does not like to be so physical in the paint he said in on heat.com in a interview before but that he knows he has to do it. Bosh needs to attack basket more be aggressive lay off that jumper so much if he is making them fine but needs to be on the glass too for offensive rebounds/second chances. Grizzlies and OKC beat us also at our own game making us turn the ball over when that is how we get most our transition fast break points making other team turn ball over.

And yet we beat Chicago in 5 games last year, and already beat them twice this year. We have beaten LA this year. And OKC. And Dallas twice. We've also beaten the Magic several times. You don't seem to see the correlation between us being tired and being killed on the boards and committing a lot of turnovers. Of course we are going to lose if we do those two things. But this team if it is focused is one of the better rebounding teams in the league. Bosh isn't a great rebounder but, Haslem, Turiaf, Lebron, Wade, Miller ARE. For us rebounding is about effort.

And the only worrisome thing is that last year I think Spo ran us into the ground, and this year he's definitely doing it. It's the Riley way, but we just don't have the squad depth to play a season like this the way Spo wants it. We should be playing the season like the Spurs and Celtics have played it.

Then why did Dallas beat us in the Finals last year ? What was one of the main reasons we lost in Finals last year ? I guess we were tired last year too against an older slower team in Dallas ? GET REAL. True the team is tired no doubt but hell all the teams are tired its the same for everyone with this shortened season. Even if the team is tired now is the time to get right, get in rhythm since there is no rest in between regular season and playoffs this year. We are vulnerable in the paint period no ifs and buts about it. We also have lost to those same teams you stated also this season besides Dallas. Excuses are like @ss*s everyone has one and if birds had a radio in their @s* there would be music in the air lol :)
