Its not even about what we want, I don't think Sac would want to trade Evans for our pick anyways. They got a good core with Tyreke and Cousins in my opinion, and with their record they can draft a player with their own pick(thats if they didn't trade it already). With that being said though, if it were up to me I still would trade the pick for Evans and from there trade Demar for a PG, SF or a pick.

Meh...I think Young is tougher. And Perry Jones has the higher ceiling. For PJ, it's really going to come down to his mindset. That's the only thing really holding him back. His mindset and how are he wants to work.

Not sure if it was posted. If it was, my apologies
Terrence Ross, G
6-6, 195 pounds
Sophomore, Washington
A less-heralded prospect than Rivers, Ross could have higher upside as an NBA shooting guard. He has good size for his position and pro-ready athleticism, and, more strikingly, has demonstrated his ability to score in bunches. He averaged 23.5 points over four NIT games, making the most of his lesser March opportunity.
"We were all kind of hoping [Washington] would make the tournament so we could see him a few more times on a national stage," a scout said. "But he played great. I liked him coming into the year and I still like him now."
He tends to check out defensively and force ill-advised, contested shots, but many of his issues could be resolved via coaching. He passes the eye test. Other than Beal and UConn's Jeremy Lamb, Ross may boast the most pure potential of any guard in the draft.
"If he takes good shots, he's got a chance to be a really good player," the other scout said. "I think he finds his way into the 13-to-19 range."
I honestly believe Ross may be a better pro than Barnes. He didn't make the tournament and was mad enough to crush NIT. He's smoother than Barnes, better defender and a better shooter. He's not Lamb or Beal but if we drop he'll be a good option.
When Chuck Norris was born the doc said "Congratulations, its a man"

I believe he COULD be as well, I also believe he could end up a bust but "c'est la vie"Kevin Willis wrote:Hassassin wrote:Draft stock watch: Scouts weigh in on top prospects after tournament.

Well I've been on here talking about Ross since fall of last year. He's going to be a really good player too. Tonnes of potential. He doesn't have really good handles but he's explosive and can shoot the ball pretty well. I've always said he reminds me a lot of Jason Richardson and he's a quality player.
Another statistical comparison...this one was very interesting:

This aspect intrigues me as well. He has an athletic advantage over Barnes. I also like that he has been able to rack up a block and steal per game. I think he's underrated a bit on this board, but should he fall into our laps via trade I will certainly be happy.

dominic artis de-committed from UCLA because Anderson committed. Dominic is a pg so I think it is fair to assume Howland promised him pg minutes. Shabazz, Tony Parker and Anderson will be a great trio to watch.

This kid whenever he comes out will replace Lebron and Wade as the best wing player in the game... He is gone be sick.
I wish we tanked next year for Shabazz ...

In my eyes Lowry is the prefect type of pg for this team, scores, distrbutes, rebounds, plays d you are going to need a little of everything with this team and he provides that.

Jrue Holiday could provide the same as well.

I would definitely trade the pick for Lowry. I would definitely not trade the pick for Tyreke.
Lowry is a stud, and the fact that he is a very good defender would be a nice change for the franchise.

I wouldn't wanna give up our pieces for Lowry, Dragic is UFA so its best if we just get him and we don't even have to give up anything for that.

I know its silly to say this but we could have had Jrue. And we'll be drafting a guard this year. Pair Jrue and Beal/Lamb up, that'd be an amazing duo for us, sigh...if only.
