Bucs lacked depth at Safety before this release, they just released their best player at that position. Yes he failed a physical, but I dont' agree with this.

This is probably a Schiano, move....... Tanrad had potential but severly underperformed last season
Nemesis what do you think about signing a guy like Addai, or Tomlinson to be a 3rd down back on a 1 year deal. Basically seeing what you have in Blount (we do have a new offensive line, offense, and blount will get his first full training camp) and then using our first 3 picks on the back 7, for example
CB Claibourne
OLB Brown/David
S Brandon Taylor
both Claibourn and Taylor are regaurded highly by Tampa's new DB coach who happens to be from LSU

Addai is only 28, and is a good blocker and capable reciever out of the back field, he is also a vet whose played on winning teams

Everybody underperformed last season. Remember there was a lockout, no OTAs, no training camp. I think Tanard could have had a better season this yr with a full training camp.
Addai could be an option, not sure if the Bucs are open to it. Idk about LT. I'd rather draft a Doug Martin or LaMichael James in the mid rds. I prefer to pair Blount with a speedy back. Both Martin and James can catch the ball out of the backfield and both can pass block.
I'd go,
1) CB Morris Claiborne
2) RB Doug Martin
3) S Brandon Taylor
5) OLB Travis Lewis
6) OLB Terrell Manning
7) RT Landon Walker
