WWE Spring Cleaning, Bellas first to go

Post#1 » by Christophersp10 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 2:03 pm

This thread can be for all of the cuts that the WWE usually makes after WM and before the draft.

The Bella Twins are the first to go as their deal expires on 4/30. Very little talent but those 2 were hot!

They should re-up with the Bellas. They're solid workers (relative to the rest of the division, I mean) and the audience is familiar with them. They're as over as mid-card Divas get, really.

Bellas are interchangeable with anyone on the Divas roster.

Thinking about who might be the next ones to go, one thing to keep in mind is that guys who are strong workers are more likely to stay. Guys like Tyson Kidd and Michael McGillicutty may not get a lot of tv time but they're guys who can have solid matches with just about anyone and that's really valuable for the house show circuit.

Evan Bourne is probably the biggest name on the chopping block. Alex Riley, Ezekiel Jackson, Jinder Mahal, Curt Hawkins, Tyler Reks and Trent Barreta are all guys who should be feeling nervous right now.

Were the Bella Twins cut or are they simply just letting them expire? Or do the Twins just not want to sign an extension?

their contract goes through 4/30/12. they are saying they dont want to re up with the WWE I bet it's the WWE doesnt' want to reup with them.

who knows if Bourne is gone. maybe the WWE wants him to get his 3rd strike so they can state they got him help, he still f'ed up and they fired him. So they can show the Media and their Board that they are against drugs.

The second question is the one and I don't know the answer to it. The first question, unless they plan on showing up in TNA is a distinction without a difference.

If they are gone and aren't on TV the rest of the month, it would be kind of funny that there last appearance was one of them beating the Divas champ.

You have Kharma and Layla coming back, Maxine (new fan), and a few others. I wouldn't be surprised if they're just letting them go.

The Daniel Bryan thing doesn't matter to them. Maryse was dating miz when she was let go.

wait, the Bellas? I don't know but the irrelevant divas atm are Fox and Natalya. and +1 on Maxine, she has the package. give the Aksana airtime to her.

doesn't Reks and Hawkins have a storyline with Regal? and for the love of everything sane, cut Khali already.

Natalya's irrelevant because they are completely underutilizing one of their better in ring performers.

I wonder if AJ has any plans to be in the ring for more action. It would have been awesome if she could have developed with DB some serious wrestling skills and for her size, she seems like she put together a good repertoire.

Yeah, Maryse was sick of jobbing as a valet to Ted DiBiase who also was jobbing, as well as the women's division. She was better than 95%. Layla needs to come back already. Kharma too. Natalya is definitely being underutilized.

Just drop the womens belts. Keep a few as managers and one to do backstage interviews.

Agree totally, but that's sexist, at least in some over sensitive peoples' mind (feminists). Cliff Levingston had to really think for a moment to figure out who the divas champ was.
