Sarver extremely disliked...

within the Suns organization, from staffers to arena personnel. The latest story coming out has put Sarver on the Donald Sterling level of despised owners. Anyways, here's what I have heard.

As some of you may know, Rich Howell passed away a few weeks ago, he was the equipment manager for the Suns from 98-06. He also happened to be well-liked and was the brother-in-law to Jerry Colangelo. Apparently there was supposed to be a small memorial service a few hours before the Lakers game in Phoenix to honor Howell within the arena with friends and family present, Jerry even supposedly called Sarver and asked for a personal favor for this event.

Sarver shot it down and refused to let the memorial happen. Needless to say, this has left a lot of people upset within the Suns organization, especially those who were around when Howell was with the team.

I don't really get insider information on players, but I do get information on the happenings within the organization at the very least. This is just to give some fellow Suns fan posters a general idea of how things are going within the Suns organization, i.e. not very well.

If that's true, that's disgusting. It's one thing to be an ****, it's another to sink to that depth. While I really hope what you said isn't true, sadly, I must believe it is. I've heard rumblings about Sarver and none of it.... I mean NONE of it.... is any good. I sure miss the Colangelo days. The man was adored by the community and for very good reason. Maybe our next owner can take after ol' Jerry and not Bob.

He's not cheap but he's not a good owner.
