We have the far superior logo (except on Halloween); therefore, sweep.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Brian Matusz

for the series.

Ugh, what's with the new Orioles logo? It looks rather childish.

Bring a broom.

I'm kinda dreading this series. Every time the Jays get off to a good start and we expect them to continue it against a weaker team, they end up losing the series or getting swept. I know they usually own the Orioles but I can see them getting unjustifiably overconfident and lose 2 out of 3.

Johnson, Edwin, and Davis are carrying this team right now. Big difference from last year, where unless Bats was going nuts, we were doomed.

If they lose a series to the Orioles, I'm not going to think it's because they got overconfident. It's because this is professional baseball and better teams lose to worse teams in short series all the time.

Baltimore has been decent so far, sweeping an awful team and then playing the Yankees pretty close last night. But anything less than a sweep will be a huge disappointment. Yankees are playing the Angels and the Red Sox and Rays are playing each other, so hopefully there are some split games and the Jays end the weekend in first place.

Odds are that you'll be disappointed, then. Sweeps are a rarity and Baltimore isn't some complete pushover team like the Astros.

A huge disappointment? Are you serious? So if we win 2 out of 3, it's a huge disappointment?

Adam Jones, Mark Reynolds, or JJ Hardy can end a game pretty quick. Baltimore is pretty thin, but they still have some guys that pop some HRs.
