Higgins is still the idiot that runs the show like a straw-boss, since MJ wades in when he chooses (as owner he should). There are limited advantages when your in full tank, and one of them is the ability to grab a guy like T-Will or JJ Hickson. How much better would this team be if we had grabbed both of those players? Still young, and clearly demonstrating they have game in this league. But no, we cling to our crap, and hope for lottery success. Even if we win the Unibrow derby, he is only 1 piece of many needed. This season is a total fail in so many ways; coaching, development, results, improvement from 1st of season to now.

Well stated Bass. When you're a franchise on track to be the all time worst team in NBA history and are all but guaranteed the first pick, there is absolutely zero excuse not to be auditioning top D-league talent throughout the season and picking up No-risk, High Reward players like Terrence Williams once they clear waivers.

He wouldn't have sniffed a roster in any other dimension of existence were it not for Rod higgins. He better not be in the team next year

You're being horribly hyperbolic here! He's a rookie. Those guys have to develop. There are plenty of vets that suck worse anyway but skate by on reputation.

Sarcasm? Your constant berating of Kemba says even you don't believe this...

the berating of Kemba is more a response to the Kemba fan club who ignore his issues and abuse any other member of the Bobcat franchise who they think might somehow be in Kemba's way.

If he can average over 12 ppg with those **** percentages as you put it, imagine what he can actually do when he corrects his shooting problems with a full offseason and training camp before next season.

Another 16 point night by Terrence Williams in only 22 minutes of action yesterday evening.

As big of a mistake as Charlotte made by passing up the chance to audition him, they could still technically sign him this offseason since he will now be an URFA.

Since Henderson has some trade value, they could always deal him for an asset and then sign Williams for similar money to replace him without skipping a beat.

With the showing williams has had in Sac, he'll probably be getting more than minimum $ this summer

Wait, why do people think we had a shot at Terrence Williams(or Hickson for that matter), we hadn't gotten the buyout done with Diaw in enough time.

^ Once Terrence Williams cleared waivers, he was free to sign anywhere he wanted. We could have waived Higgens Jr's minimum salary at any time to clear a roster spot to accomodate him. Picking him up should have been a no-brainer.

Williams publically stated that finding a team where he would be afforded playing time was his primary motivation and between the 2-3 spots (especially the 3 where Maggs is constantly injured and not part of the future here anyway), we easily could have, and should have, been able to promise him 30 minutes a night during his audition period.

And the beauty of it is that if, for the sake of arguement, everyones fears had been realized and he did turn out to be an insubordinate prima donna, we could have cut him loose with no future obligation.

As Sach notes, he's fostered relationships with the guys and Sac and is now likely to give them priority for re-signing him in the offseason. They've got a steal

Bobcats have announced they are shutting down Maggette for the remainder of the season. Will they bring in somebody to fill his role?

I think Derrick Brown will continue to start.

I felt like the only person at the time who realized that. There is absolutely nothing to lose with a 10-day contract.

No indication one way or the other whether #Bobcats would sign someone to a 10-day contract.
