KS has a combination of strength and swift that very few players in nba have.
When you watch the way he post up a guy and then turn himself so fast for is weight and make his hook shot : it's very difficult to defend on him.
Also I have the impression that he can make his hooks all night like the great pf or center have this ability because it's a moovement which he is pretty confident.

I think that now for KS the important thing is to keep is confidence he has shown the last 10 games. I think it's the key for him to become a great pf or center in this league,
And if you add his confidence in offense to his hamper defense with few blocks and good positioning and to grab the defensive rebounds and a nice ability to assist. He is the guy who makes team wins.

Also KS plays the pick and roll good and it is easier playing good pick and roll when you have a guy like wall who is agressive to the rimp and has a good eye to see his big guys. It's a big advantage for KS to play with Wall because with Wall's agressiveness the guy defending on Wall needs help of his big guys which open easy basket for KS

I think Wittman has understood lately that KS is much more capable to get the team better than Mcgee.
Mcgee is impressive with highlights action and has the longest arms in nba but he is just not so good as people thought so. In Denver coach Karl makes him play from the bench.

* Flip is gone, I wasn't joking that Flip would have had Cook plaing ahead of Kevin

Flip did a terrible job. I despised his coaching and his choices on who to play. Flip would still be playing guys like Yi Jianlian ahead of Kevin Seraphin. He would still be playing Blatche. Rashard Lewis would be getting minutes and not guys like Booker.

closg00, Flip would have Cook in there and not Seraphin.

The hook info was a bit... :o

I knew he was doing well but that really put in perspective just how effective he is with that shot. I hadn't thought about his effectiveness on pnr plays but obviously that is another big positive.

NY will definitely be a tough test for him.

I don't think Seraphin would share your fondness for that name.

GuyannaGrizzli?
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

I sincerely mean it with the best of intentions. Seraphin is a total beast and I think his name should reflect that. If one can conceivably call another "Manbearpig" with affection, I shall do so. There is also a South Park reference with the name, so that appeals to me as well.

Home of the rare Guyanese Grizzly Bear, for which Seraphin is names. I think Seraphin is French for Grizzly

actually, I think Seraphin and its variations means fiery, so perhaps he needs a nickname along those lines

I was suggesting it for a nickname! But I guess it should be GuianaGrizzly if your spelling is correct.

Seraphin's nickname should be Stronghold or Firestone.

I guess "Doris Day" (K-Sera, Sera) doesn't exactly conjure up images of toughness.

It will never stick.

I'm going with Butter because he is so smooth with his shot.

Or Butter Beast to cover both side of his game. Butter Beast works for me.
