Should have benched him a while back. He's just not needed at this point in the season. Really, same goes for DJ and anyone else who likely won't be here next season.

Maggette HAS to be here next season. He is the only guy that can actually score, and I am not sure why we would amnesty an expiring contract on a player that can actually contribute? If we amnesty anyone we need to amnesty Thomas.

We need to trade him to a contender for a 1st round pick. He's a guy who could really help a contender from off the bench, kind of what Jason Terry and VC do for Dallas. Plenty of teams will want him for the expiring deal too.

That's his only value. Hopefully a playoff team next year will be hurting enough to trade for him.

He can't shoot, he stalls the offense, he can't pass (to his teammates), and plays maybe average defense.

He quit on us after about three games but I guarantee he'll be a beast next year.

we didnt do anything with diaw's expiring deal because we refuse to take back any money past one year. i doubt it will be different with maggette next year.
