i think morey will try to trade lowry as part of a package for howard.

That's an extremely steep asking price for Kyle Lowry. I agree that he's an excellent talent, but potential game changing Centers don't come around as often as game changing Point Guards. I can't see Lowry pulling that much in a trade.

like i said, morey will offer a package that includes lowry assuming howard signs the extension of course.

Lowry + 78 virgins for Morey to use? It's going to need to be like Denver how they got Gallo + a bunch of solid talent for Melo.

the odds are against the rockets compared to nets, but in morey we trust.

The only way we should entertain trading Lowry is if we get a proven player on a long term deal. Trading Lowry for a Howard rental is asinine. Signing players based on 1 month of good basketball is equally as crazy. The Rockets have done so much to get this far, and I would be devastated for our front office to throw it away b/c an UFA backup is playing well. I don't understand how Lowry can go from being clearly better than Dragic, to being damn near equal to Lowry in 1 month.

Anyone see FOX26 news last night? Mark Berman said Lowry is having an off court issue but he won't discuss it. Between the assault charge, the infection and whatever this new problem is, getting a little worried about him.

Signing players based on 1 month of good basketball is equally as crazy.

We matched Cleveland's $24m contract to Lowry in 2010 after he played 68 games with 9.1ppg, 4.5apg and 3.6 rpg playing 24.3 minutes per game (no starts)

Dragic has played in 58 games this year with 10.9ppg, 5.0apg and 2.4rpg playing 25.3 minutes per game (20 starts). So he's worth at least the $6m/year that Lowry got.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

You don't resign players based on raw stats and like I said before the scenario wasn't the same. Kyle Lowry at the time was a top 5 defender at his position, he ran the offense better than anyone on our team, push the the ball better, and a lot of people felt he was a better all-around player than AB. Also AB wasn't locked into a contract like Lowry currently is.

Look at their current RAPM (search for Lowry and Dragic):

This is 2010 ranking (search for Lowry and Brooks):
