He's from my small town btw. VERY small town.

Pretend that you think Howard is better than Bynum. Now look at the situation from that angle and that is where I'm coming from. :P.

I mean, yes, it's wasn't detrimental. It didn't cost us anything. When your maturity is in question, you should try to act professional on the court.

Yeah...because Dwight doesn't do dumb s*** during games or anything.

I agree with Gek, we're talking about a guy with constant issues with maturity. In context, that was not acceptable, awesome-yes, acceptable-no.

LOL. So it was awesome but unacceptable...WAT? Did you do one of these?

And once again, the fact that he tries to play the "think of it from the perspective of someone who prefers Dwight over Drew" card when Howard has been more immature than Bynum throughout his career is laughable and absurd.

I'll take immature off the court(D12), than both off and on the court(Bynum) any day.

LOL Bynum got 30 rebounds and shut that Spurs team down all by himself in the post and people cherry pick on this? Dude was just having some fun with his teammate.

Pretty sure I'm implying that Dwight's been immature on the court as well.

To quote a post from a similar discussion on another board:

Off the top of my head....

1.) Knicks game this year....laughing on the bench and telling Knicks fans to cheer louder in a game the Magic got blownout.

2.) New Jersey Nets game....Ryan Anderson on the floor, D12 comes over and acts like he is using a defibrillator on him.

3.) Bulls game.....Glen Davis goes to the floor in 4th quarter....D12 acts like he is using a defribillator on him.

4.) Don't remember the game....D12 and Jameer get benched for awful play and they can be seen laughing and not taking things too serious at all. Also refused to join team huddle.

5.) Don't remember the game....D12 gets called for a travel or offensive foul...he takes ball walks to halfcourt, turns and throws/rolls the ball away from ref....delay of game/technical.

Now throw in him never taking anything serious and dancing around pre-game and all the stuff he has done off the court. Among other things that I might have missed like Bruddah's example in the post above, how can you people say they've never seen D12 do anything immature before?

The "example in the post above" he was referring to was when Dwight was chatting up and joking with a group of fans late in the 4th of a close game during the '10 ECF and Rashard actually had to go over and tell Dwight where to go for the inbound pass. JVG even went out of his way to point out how Howard wasn't paying attention.

If you want to rip on Drew for fooling around towards the end of the game that's entirely up to you. Personally I didn't have a problem with it but whether or not you felt it was wrong is your opinion and up for debate. What IS NOT up for debate is whether or not Dwight's antics have been restricted to purely "off the court" stuff, the guy has been repeatedly caught goofing off during games and to act like Drew is guilty while Dwight isn't is laughable.

Howard's an immature individual, I don't think anyone here is disputing that. Most of things that were listed where harmless and can be put in the same category as LeBron dancing on the sidelines in Cleveland, annoying but harmless. But if you really want to get into who's been the most immature on the court, it's Bynum by far. Until Dwight plows his elbow into someone basically a foot shorter than him, I don't want to hear anything for you.

I really don't even know what he's arguing about. I assume he's trying to say Howard's more immature than Bynum on the court?

The only thing Dwight has shown on the level of immaturity on the court is he can't stop complaining about fouls.

Bynum levels 5'9 players and shoots 3 pointers.

The guy tried to make s*** up and pretend like Dwight never goofs off on the court, all I did was post proof showing that's CLEARLY not the case.

Jetset wrote:Most of things that were listed where harmless and can be put in the same category as LeBron dancing on the sidelines in Cleveland, annoying but harmless.

Doesn't change the fact that what I said is true. Again, the poster tried to claim that Dwight's antics were limited to "off the floor stuff", he was wrong. Furthermore, I would prefer if the franchise player leading the team I root for not jerk around during a must-win game during the ECF. Funny how you claim "most" of the things I listed to be harmless but then ignore the stuff he did when the chips were on the table and every bit of focus mattered.

I'm not arguing that Bynum hasn't has his fair share of immature moments (he clearly has), what I was arguing was that Dwight's antics were NOT limited to stuff which took place purely "off the court", please pay attention next time.

Then stay away from your keyboard or ask a question instead of making an ignorant post unless you want to end up looking foolish. Why would you respond to a poster with a statement as opposed to a question when you don't know what he or she is saying?

So in other words you're upset, distraught, bent out of shape, and mad because someone said they'd take Dwight's attitude over Bynum's?
