World Peace should be on the lower block each and everytime he's on the floor.

Also loved that he didn't settle for the 3 during the Utah game and became vintage Ron Artest for a second.

Pau Gasol on Metta World Peace

Pretty much says this system is better for him and more simplified for him.

I especially liked how he pretty much dunked it in his own face... Or at least off his own face.

Remember, Ron's always had talent. He just needed the confidence to get his groove on, and right now he's swimming high and doing what he KNOWS he does well at, which is use his strength every goddamn opportunity. He's always been a confidence shooter, and right now it REALLY shows.

I still believe he should be amnestied at the end of the season if he cant be traded. I just dont see a team taking on his contract and he isnt worth the cap space going forward.

The criticisms Artest received at the start of the season were completely fair IMO, he was fat, out of shape and playing like complete ass. I will give credit where credit is due however, he has really stepped up and turned his game around since the AS break and should be commended for it IMO. A lot of players once they fall off or hit a certain point simply say "F it" and start collecting their checks from the bench, I applaud Ron for taking the necessary steps to significantly improve his play over the course of the season.

8-)

Thats fair, now it appears steve blake is the next victim. A few big shots or one game winner in the playoffs will clean up his current image around here.

I always supported Ron (although think he's the best one to amnesty, especially with the amnesties). I also generally stand up for Steve Blake (at least in terms of his rotation minutes over our other players). Kobe still hasn't re-won me over.

Oh sorry, my sarcasm wasn't well conveyed. The guy that bumped this thread is guilty of textbook "what have u done lately" behavior.

Agreed, although I still disagree with Brown's decision to run him as a 2 at times alongside Ramon. He's actually a decent backup 1 when he isn't playing scared but what he is NOT is a SG, that's more on Mike Brown though although part of me wonders if fans will hurl blame in Steve's direction whenever he fails as a backup 2.

Why do people say this? Do you know how often Blake plays the two spot? It happened in 3 games for 22 total minutes. I went through every line-up we have played on NBA.com. It gets brought up in every Blake vs Goudelock discussion too.
