Wall did a good job hounding him on that last play of the 3rd quarter. If the Cavs had scored coast-to-coast with 3 seconds. . . that would have been embarrassing.

So how bad has Chris Singleton been. My God.

The guy came in with all kinds of confidence. What happen ?

Oh, Ves with the quite double double. Hey Kev... grab some rebounds big boy.

Amazing. How was Wall not fouled on that drive.

John's been aggressive tonight. I guess that's a positive. 19-9 isn't bad. Only 2 TOs.

Obvious no-call. Parker jumped up into Wall. I feel bad that he got hit, though. Looked painful

Tank or not, this is an embarrassing loss. I realize we're shorthanded, but Cleveland is playing a D-League squad out there.

CLE 27-33 from the line. That was pretty much the game right there.

Wizards 9-12

It amazes me how a players like Crawford who drives and is as herky jerky he is driving only gets to the line 1 time. The refs really don't give him any calls.

I'm pretty disappointed in Keveen for only getting 4 rebounds.

I'm sorry: I agree with you that it was a missed call. There should have been a foul on Parker.

this was an embarrasing tank loss....we lost to a team with like 10 DLeaguers..we have almost clinched the 2nd worst record so there may be some games where we can actually cheer for the wizards to win

refs helped us get closer to Anthony Davis. its like we have a rep or something. "oh its the wizards, these guys suck, ill just swallow my whistle it probably wasnt a foul anyway".

shame there was no Kyrie. would have been good to see the two first overall's go at it.

and last point: i knew (might have even posted) we should have signed Lester up to play behind Wall.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

To be fair, I hate to call anyone a bust after just one year and no summer camp or preseason but what the hell are Chris Singleton and Mack doing that we can get excited about? I expect more about of Chris Singleton this year. I haven't seen much progress.

Would have rather used the 2nd rounder on Jerome Tyler and resigned Hudson or brought in a vet back up PG. Mack looked good at one point because he was calmer then Wall and Wall was running around like a maniac, but after seeing him a full season, he seemed to be regressing, not getting better. Same with Singleton. The fact that C Singleton is starting is killing this team.

Look at his 5 game log. http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/6470/chris-singleton

His season number don't look much better. But with Booker and Nene, they are not as bad as they looked the last two games. They will get another asset shortly. They have to figure out what to do with back up PG and before the start of the season after next, they will need a legit long term answer to SF.

Not really.. There reaches a limit where some of this bad play becomes detrimental to the development of the young players.

Some of these guys are supposed to be the future and they just got their butts kicked by a D League team. Last year's draft is looking more like a big fat bust. The entire team's confidence looks shaken. Embarrassing..

ook at Are roster it's not that good. Plus 2 of are key guys are out. And we get better in the draft and free agent. I don't look two much into these loses really. We are playing with are main guys out beside wall. We get a top 5 pick most likely and sign a free agent we will be better next year don't worry.

+1.

Anyone who thinks this is at all positive because it solidifies ping pong balls that are already all but secure anyway is thoroughly in denial. We need positive signs that some of these young guys are going to become credible NBA players, John Wall most certainly included. The best players in the game today were Seraphin and Harangody, a guy who is going to be playing in a D-League game less than 24 hours later. Losing at home by almost double digits is a disaster.

I don't get too up after wins, or too low after losses. The team is horrible and needs an infusion of elite talent, or barring that, very good talent badly. This loss helped nearly insure we will get one of the Big 4 +1 come draft day. That will be an essential piece, we will either get the big man whose ready to go (Davis), the big man who isnt ready but does have greatness in him (Drummond), the jack of all trades, hypermotivated, high BBIQ athlete/stud in need of a shot (MKG), the Juwon Howard styled "Johnny Consistency" 18 and 9 with good leadership and solid BBIQ big man (Robinson), the 2 guard to turn Crawford into what he should be, energy guy/scorer off the bench, while he provides elite BBIQ, high coachability, outstanding shooting and fill the stat line production inside and outside (Beal). Four of these guys would immediately solve a problem, and two of them could prove to be franchise players and solve problems.

Lets remember that basically this team has lost Nick Young, Javale McGee/Nene, and Booker in the past month, that's essentially 3 of the five most productive players on what was already the second worst team in the league. Of course the team blows, and of course its play is uneven and hideous at times. It's relying on developmental guys speculatively drafted in 2010 and 2011 who are not ready, across the board, to start (save Wall), and in some cases, will probably never be ready. The team is young, tired, and breaking down after not having a training camp, or preseason, and 4 out of its 5 first choice starters when training camp opened.

This isn't surprising, and the payoff for this is more than likely going to be Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Bradley Beal, Thomas Robinson or Andre Drummond. A huge pay off.

Im not going to get too down on a team that was already bottom 5-10 in the league preseason (i think the median win prediction was probably 17 or 18, so the vast majority of us expected us to suck before the year started), and has since lost four of its 5 starters on what was already going to be a wretched team.

I am worried that the team is not nearly as improved as Cleveland, despite having a two year head start, but we also weren't handed a #1 overall pick for the contracts we ate in 2010/2011 blow up trades like Cleveland was (still cannot believe how insanely stupid the clippers were to trade the #1 pick overall in exchange for eating Baron Davis' contract when they knew a lockout was coming and the amnesty concept might be in the new CBA, and now the Nets made nearly as stupid a trade for Gerald Wallace). They have a massive rebuilding advantage we didn't have. Hopefully this lottery, and draft we get some luck, and land Davis, failing that, lets get reasonably lucky and land a very good player with upside so the team isn't forced to start players that were probably ranked 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th in overall talent on the roster (if not worse) when the season started, and were looked at as players that would be eased in, rather than forced to play 30-40 minutes in april repeatedly in a lockout compacted season.
