Duhon blows leads left and right... I don't understand how he can still play Duhon...

I, like Magicstarwipe, knew the second he had a bad game Duhon would be back.... Duhon can screw up for 40 games straight and still get playing time.... Ish screws up once in 10 minutes and he's yanked for 10-15 games....

i dont have an answer, stan likes his veterans, likes the safer players even if they suck, i just wish we can dump duhon in the offseason and pick up a real backup pg

I'm not super concerned with ish not playing tonight... in my mind a couple things played out here:

1.) Stan probably wanted to get duhon in a better frame of mind after the past couple days. He also can't afford to have his "skills" erode lol.

2.) Jameer got into early foul trouble. He wanted someone who could effectively run the his plays if jameer continued deeper into foul trouble. As good as Ish has been, he is undoubtedly still learning the play book and is not familiar with all the sets.

2.) Stan probably wanted to keep the pace down and not wear out baby, orton, etc.

I am convinced though that if Ish isn't playing tomorrow against 76rs, he'll be in the game at some point against the celtics. I think Stan has that game marked on his calendar -- nelson and duhon will be coughing up the ball against rondo and bradley and ish will probably be the only person who can get the ball up the floor.

Ignoring the last part about the "real backup PG" because I think we have a serviceable backup for the time being (Ish, not Poohon). I agree with the rest though.

Dudu is pretty bad, painful to watch at times, ish is alright, he's got a ways to go but he can stick in this league if he works hard, I think he should be ahead of duhon right now, see how he does playing every game for a few weeks, see if can make that next step, but it's a long step with Stan, we still need an upgrade at point next year whether it's a starter or a backup

Well said here although I'm still peeved on Duhon playing in the rotation again. That game on Wednesday makes perfect sense to play Ish, I just hope Stan has the same level of thinking.

We need an upgrade at PG for both starting and backup. we need a new starting PG whether it's through trade or FA. I would like to keep Jameer as our backup though.

I think you're only supposed to use a number once when you're making a list. :P

I don't think Stan is a game by game line guy. He's been, for rotation guys, imo, you've got the spot until you lose it.

So Duhon can miss practices, party late on game nights, be completely out of shape and blatantly suck at being an NBA point guard....and still not lose his spot in the rotation. I think the Dwight situation has gotten to Stans head...he's gone mental.

I would much rather Ish.

But Duhon got penalized for his bad behavior - and in a public manner since it was a suspension. But obviously Ish hasn't won over Stan yet.

Every time Duhon goes into the game people should boo with a few people close to the bench yelling "C'mon", "Not Duhon again", "Are you freaking serious", "WTF!!!!!" and then start a chant of "We want Ish", "We want Ish" etc etc.

I can see how Ish hasn't won over Stan yet. That is understandable. What I am not sure of is how Duhon is winning this battle.

I completely agree with you. Duhon has set the bar so low, literally any adequate PG will be a massive upgrade for us.
