Wow, CCJ's got some clout! I guess it's too late for me to convince the Wiz to give Wil Avery a shot. Hey, Jawad Williams is playing in France... Put Almond, Jawad, and James Singleton with Wall and a healthy Nene, and you've got a better starting 5 than the Wiz do now.

I actually do hope that guy gets good run the rest of the season. We know what Crawford is. Let someone else take 20 shots a game and we can compare the results. I don't know much about Almond, but I'd be surprised if a 2 guard couldn't match JC's production given the minutes/shots...

He shall here-to-fore be referred to as "The Prophet CCJ"

Never seen Almond play a minute of basketball, I have high expectations based upon CCJ's props. I sincerely hope we score a keeper for the bench.

More importantly, this would be the finished product. This is CCJ's title team! Just having fun with you CCJ cause If Almond does go for 20, we'll never hear the end of it.

Let me say now, before the Hall of Fame inductions and world-wide accolades, I always knew that given the right situation he was going to be a success. For us, a perfect fit,of course of course. He only needed a little time to get his feet under him and yaddayadda yadda excuse, but clearly he was destined for success in this league. Mo Money is the truth, all the haters and doubters now must recognize... Feel free to get on the bandwagon late, it's rolling slow but we'll hit a long sweet slope and start rolling sweet.

Hah, this is hilarious. After hunting down clandestine footage of Rice games years ago to peek at him I somehow feel like we got another lottery pick for free. Now all he has to do is just totally not suck, and you know, earn a starting job, build his career here. A nice guy though, the media will love him. On court: even if he were Nick Young without the stupid...that's not bad right? And maybe he's developed the rest of his game?

As I recall though he had a decent low-post game, high 2pt% for a wing player. Will have to track him down and see what he's been up to now...

If Almond isn't an All-Star by next season, I'm banning CCJ for one year.

His 2 point shooting percentage wasn't real good at Rice, but he did average 10.7 FT attempts per 40 minutes in his senior year. He had the poor man's Mike Redd vibe thing going for him - Redd being a former 2nd rounder.

I would advise EG to resist the urge to re-sign Almond to a max contract - something he failed to resist with Redd.

If this guy MOrris Almond has an explosive first step, weights over 215lb and can finish at a high percentage at the rim against contact while also shooting the nba three ball, EG needs to titled GM of the year because he has never in his entire career brought a shooting guard to the wizards who weighted over 215lbs, had an explosive first step and could also shoot the three ball.

This is a new era baby, i am so excited. Why didn't EG sign Almond sooner. Almond, the guy with the explosive first step, he weights over 215, and can shoot the three ball. Match made in heaven for the wizards.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands
