I have a fake Classic Volcano, I think it's made by Fiji. The smell it leaves isn't the issue, my issue lies in its noise. You can tell there's some whirring noise going on in my room, gotta get something quiet.

you guys should think about investing in a vaporizer

pros:
- way less tar
- negligible stench (you can smoke under the same roof as your parents)
- efficient use as compared to spliffs and blunts

cons:
- accessibility(hard to take it with you unless you have a handheld)
- steep price

If they weren't so expensive and I wasn't planning on stopping next Christmas (to start my real life), I'd consider it.

So I just got the kind of news I've been waiting for after this weekend. I was skimming the musician pages on Craigslist as usual, for Harp players or latin percussion players, neither being a common thing. I found this dude who was in his early 20s and moved from Illinois. He seemed to be into the same Blues my friend, brother and I are into. I planned to meet the guy at a Starbucks then have him come over for our weekly Sunday jam. My friend, the keyboardist got sick on Thursday so it was a possibility he wouldn't make it, sure enough that bastard came sick as a dog but he came.

My hungover dad demanded I go get Jack in the Box for him right before I'm leaving to meet the Harp player. I went to JITB and saw some drums being sold out in a yard sale (my 15 y/o brother has been playing on a Toys R Us kids drum set the last 6 months or so). The guy was selling the drums for $150, it was the snare, a floor tom, two other toms, bass drum, hi-hat and cymbal with all the hardware plus a seat except no drum tuning key and the hi-hats and cymbals were **** up! So I took everything for $70 after talking to the guy and talking him down. I packed the drum set as fast as I could and rushed to meet the Harp player at Starbucks.

The Harp player was no weirdo/serial killer so I invited him to my house. The keyboardist arrived shortly after, the jam was insanely well. We were all my house by 3, talked about the Blues and found we all hated that soft sounding commercial Blues, you know that family fun style. We had two beers each except my bro while hearing some tunes then started jamming. We kept jamming to different Blues and some classic rock until about 7:30-8. The harp player seemed to like it and we surely liked him. He left without letting us know for sure if he'd be back. I just got a text from him that he had his phone recording the whole session and really liked it. Apparently he'll be coming from now on. So this weekend things finally came together. We have a real drum set, added a Harp player and apparently sound good enough to debut sooner than I anticipated. This year has been a fruitful music-wise, everything else is pretty mediocre/unsatisfactory.

Yea but just to hear my own guitar or my own voice to work on it. It's the only way I've managed to get any better, it lets me hear my mistakes or things I don't particularly like. I'll record a song I've written pretty quickly with all instruments played or else I'll forget how I meant to deliver the vocals or play the guitar parts or how I thought the drums should go or something like that. They're **** recordings but I use them as pictures so to speak. It lets me build on it or scrap it depending on how all the instruments sound together. I finally recorded a small snippet of some a Latin poem I really really like. I decided to give it a Santana style treatment, a heavy Blues Latin Rock sound. I recorded the first minute or so of the poem.

I've been writing composing for a while, but it took me a long long time to learn how to play a melody instrument like guitar or piano. Finally I can start recording my ideas and laying them down for the keyboardist to listen to. He's more of the music theory and I do more of the creative side, it works out well since we sort of hide the others weaknesses.

So for some reason, cops are passing by my job A LOT more often the last two weeks, they usually pass by every couple of days since there's a police station about two blocks down but still, it's pretty hot around here lately. I don't like smelling bacon when I'm doing my evil deed

Isn't this the scene were they also eat the books? I may be wrong, I saw the movie in 3D is theatres with my sis, we shared a Hubby bar and a few bowls before going in to the AMC Promenade so exluding that, I last saw it about 9 years ago in El Salvador, and yes, in Spanish.
