If the jazz had magically landed no.1 pick

Post#1 » by Reckless » Mon Apr 16, 2012 7:16 pm

Last year's lottery we were in the top 3, we knew that much. Than they announce, the third pick goes to...the utah jazz, all koc can do is look down at his feet as jazz fans worldwide let out obscenities. cleveland lands the first pick which assures them of Kyrie Irving. In his rookie season Irving separates himself from other guards in the draft by having a excellent year. jazz land kanter a promising young prospect but certainly not the instant impact player we would have liked. So say we had landed that top spot and selected Irving. How different would have this season been. Say when Harris was slumping early in the year and Irving takes over, how big of a win difference are we talking?

We would be set for now and the future with Irving as the PG of now and long term. Likely a few games better in win category IMO

Irving wouldn't have started for the Jazz...... Just like Deron didn't in his rookie year......

pg line up of harris-irving-tinsley. im sure watson would have walked if irving was drafted. and i bet okur would still be on the team, as now they have a spot for him.

draft Davis and play him with Favors with Kantor as their back up for the next 4-5 years. Adios Millsap and Jefferson. Favors/Davis/Hayward would be one of the best front lines in NBA history.

trade down for Beal, we dont need Davis as he is similar player to Fav, long athletic and not strong enough to be center

Apparently you didn't read my post. I'm talking about last year's draft.

I misread it as well. Irving would have made us alot better and made the future look even brighter.

You have a fantasy lottery if you want here:

I do mess around with it at times to see how kind of results I would get. Here is a couple of them I got:
