I hope Duhon both breaks Chamberlain's scoring mark AND Skills assist night!

I rather go with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" strategy with Orton. If he starts, he may get overly excited and pick up cheap early fouls. I rather him beast off the bench :D

You don't have to hope, he's going to do that on his own already.

Not sure what I want more. A win to get away from the Knicks BUT closer to the dreaded 5 seed, or a loss where we settle back into a safer 6th seed BUT allow the knicks to come closer to us.

I'll be watching this game with a poker face.
Maybe I shouldn't watch it at all.
Maybe I should just go to sleep it's 12 in the UK.
Maybe I'm just not feeling up to watching Duhon run the offense where it takes us on average 24.3 seconds to get a shot off.

Bad times, yo. Bad times.

If we lose tonight and the Knicks beat Boston tomorrow we'll still be 3 games ahead of them. Looking at Philly's and the Knicks' respective schedules, Philly has a better chance of overtaking us > the Knicks.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

I want the Knicks to play the Heat in the first round, because they're the only team in the first round that can beat the Heat.

I was just watching channel 6 news and as soon as Ping started talking about this game they went to a commercial and cut him off!! Lol

As for the game thread it was very well done and kinda want to see what Orton can bring to the table with big minutes. Hopefully he can do something worth while

It is game day and Dwight, Hedo, BBD are all out. LOL

Anyways, at least he can see Duhon up close.

If we lose we will only be 2.5 up on Philly and could we could realistically go 1-4 in the final games. Rather play it safe. Win tonight, then go ahead and lose out.

That said, I want to see the scrubs play hard as a second unit. This game could go a long way at getting the Magic mentally strong for the playoffs.

JUST WIN!!!!

..

Not really. We still have to avoid the #7 seed and we likely can't lose out and keep the #6. We only have to win a few of the remaining games but a win vs Philly would go a long way in securing at least the #6. So this really could be a big game in terms of us playing the Pacers(barring a collapse by them)the 1st round other than the Heat.

Like you said tho, JUST WIN!

Agree. The Magic need 2-3 wins the remainder of the season to stay in 6th. This Phili game is one of the easier games left on the schedule too. The only way I see the Magic fallling into 7th is if Phili wins more than 4 games and the Magic win less than 2. That could be tough for Phili, considering they play all but 1 of their remaining games on the road. I see Atlanta getting at least 3 wins the rest of the way and taking the 5th seed.

Just win
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

I think we lock 6th with 2 wins. This would be a good one, but still have 2 easy games to close the season.
