What's wrong with Perry Jones? Great player if he can be motivated.

He plays without a pulse. He's soft, doesn't take advantage of his physical gifts. He's Josh Smith without the shot blocking. Has nothing to do with his Guards at Baylor, this was the book on him as a High School prospect as well. Everything about the guy screams bust.

Painfully true.
Thought this guy was goin to get it together, but still needs alot work.

Boston is currently beating Jersey tonight. Assuming that holds and the Cavs win their game against the Wizards, this will be a good night for the Nets pick.

Coming into tonight, the New Jersey pick was 6th which had a 5.4% chance in getting the #1 pick.

I do think the pick will be seventh for GS which is on a roll is going to finish at 6
which allows them to keep their pick.

Yeah, I honestly can't imagine the Nets staying at 6. The Nets, Warriors, Raptors and Pistons are all within a game of each other. So 6 thru 9 are going to be a huge tossup until the end of the season.

Since the Warriors are the new challenger here, this is their final schedule.

vs SAS
vs LAL
@ DAL
@ HOU
@ MIN
vs NOH
vs SAS

I think they can get the game in MIN if Love is out, then I think they win their final two home games. NOH sucks and SAS will undoubtedly be trotting out a D-League team and sitting every starter they can. That has them finishing 25-41.

Key games tomorrow include the Heat vs NJ, Minnesota/Indiana, Atl/Tor,
NO/Char, Chi/Washington and SA/GS.

If Minnesota can beat Indians, they have winnable games against Detroit,
GS and perhaps Denver who might rest their players before the playoffs begin.
If we can lose out, we'd tie with the Wolves if they manage to win some of the
winnable games.

I chuckled at the phrase "if we can lose out", and thought it completely preposterous... i then took a quick glance at our remaining schedule and thought... "holy smokes, we could lose out!" :o

Toronto is beating Atlanta again....... It's only half way through the 2nd, but interesting to see them following up where they left off. Hopefully they can hold on and get another win over the Hawks.

Golden State plays the Spurs tonight. Home game for the Warriors, but it will totally come down to who the Spurs sit. Never know when Popp decides to sit everyone.

Nets and Heat playing. No DWade for the Heat, but no DWill (and GWallace) for Nets. Nets are at home, but LeBron and Bosh should be able to get that. Heat trail by 3 mid way through the 1st.

Wolves also playing tonight, but they're doing everything they can to stay ahead of the Blazers in the lottery standings. They're down over 20 in just the 2nd quarter. They pretty much have that 10 spot locked up. They almost have to win out and the Blazers would have to lose out for Portland to pass them.

If Batum is hurting, I would bet they sit him for the rest of the season, as well. Blazers may not win another game if that's the case.

Ugh, it's looking like the Nets are going to get the upset over Miami and Toronto is also realized they're Toronto and are now losing big to the Hawks.

Not looking like a good night for the Nets pick.

Very few Miami Heat fans on this board but tonight at least, most of us are
rooting for the Heat to come back against the Nets. The problem though for
the Heat is that Wade is out if the Heat need a last second shot for the win.

Miami may be missing Wade but NJ is also missing D Williams. The fact Miami is losing this game in the 4th is telling to me about Miami's championship prospects. They don't seem to have it.

I definitely had this as a NJ Loss for draft pick placement.

I was wondering why Spoelstra had Lebron on the bench for most of the 4th quarter
but 17 straight points from Lebron brought the Heat back.

Thankfully the Heat were able to pull out the win, but it's really sad it took nearly the whole game for them to barely squeak out a win against a Nets team that had pretty much their entire starting lineup out.

Barnes, but tbh neither.

Both are too similar to Batum.

We need someone who can make things happen. That's either a good PG that can get others involved (Dragic, Marshall) or an attacking SG (Gordon, Rivers or Beal although Beal is not nearly as aggressive as those other two).

San Antonio isn't resting anyone tonight, so no chance at the Warriors sneaking out a win.
