On paper that is probably the two best teams in the NFC going into the season.

It's debatable but to me at end of the day the Giants were a 9-7 team that got hot at the right time and had just about every lucky break bounce their way in the playoffs, from the 49ers muffing and fumbling away the NFC title game to catching the Packers offense on their worst day in 2+ years.

Don't get me wrong,I give the Giants credit for taking full advantage of those opportunities and playing damn good football last January but going into this season at least on paper I think the Packers & 49ers are the two best teams in the NFC.

That could very well change once the games actually begin but as of right now my money would be on the 49ers or Packers to win the NFC in 2012.

Btw Packers@Giants on November 25th and it's an NBC Sunday night game.

I just wanted an excuse to post that video. 8-)

Haha that's what I figured, you can never go wrong with that video lol, but I still wanted to state my case on the Giants because I know a lot of people would put them as the favorite or in the top 2.

But IMO it's the 49ers & Packers.

And looking way ahead but should the Packers & 49ers meet in the title game that is a match up in which HFA could be a big factor, week 1 right off the bat will be a huge game in that regard.

5 primetime games, not bad. I miss football and the Packers so badly.

I hate NFL network games, they broadcast it on local channels in Green Bay and Milwaukee but not Madison wtf.

Lots of good matchups that should be entertaining. Looks difficult in the 1st half and it seems to really ease up in the latter part of the schedule.

Aaron Rodgers is still the QB, and the defense can only get better: 19-0

Ten teams have three consecutive home games, while Green Bay and Houston are the only clubs with three straight road trips.

But at least the 3 straight road games are all in domes, which Rodgers loves.

My buddy and I were planning on going to the Seattle game. Too bad it's the Monday after his wedding. Think I'll hit the Houston game instead.

I am looking at either the 49ers or the Saints. The deciding factor could be the fact that I have never been to the first game of the season and would like to be a part of that.

I kind of feel like we got screwed this year with the schedule. One of only 2 teams with 3 consecutive road games, only Monday night game is away as usual, 2 of our 3 Sunday night games are away, and we end the season on the road against a division rival.

On the positive side I guess we do open up with 2 home games, a couple of home games against easier teams going into the bye, and looks like we only have 3 outdoor games on the road all season. Also only 2 games at 3:15 pm... I hate 3 pm games.

At least the Thursday game is early, home, and coming off another home game.

MM has said he likes Thursday games because even though it's a short week it's also like having another bye week. Obviously coming in game 2 negates that for the most part.

Looking to make a roady this year... Either St Louis Or Indy... Anyone have thoughts on the cities as which is better to take a weekend trip to?

Both are nice cities to visit for a weekend.

If anyone wants to do an eastern road trip you could do UW at Penn State on 11/24 and Packers at Giants on 11/25 (night game).

I've never been to St Louis.

Not a big fan of Indy, but the stadium does look pretty awesome.

Yes I think Indy's stadium is much nicer than the Rams. Shouldn't be hard to get tickets to either game. I guess the Andrew Luck factor may drive ticket sales in Indy.
