Jazz guard Raja Bell said Tuesday he could be healthy in time for the playoffs if Utah makes the postseason.

The 12-year veteran is recovering from a left knee injury. He received a hyalgan injection April 2 and was ruled out indefinitely at the time.

Bell's recovery has gone well and he resumed running and minor basketball-related activities Monday.

"If I can get into shape and situationally … I can help, I'm all up for it," said Bell, who hasn't played since March 15, and also dealt with a groin injury this season.
R-DAWG wrote:Look guys, no matter what happens we know Fegan is a man of his word and Dwight Howard doesn't change his mind once he makes a decision.

I'll say this about Bell, I think he would've stood up for Gordon after the West Willy.

As a back up, Bell would actually be fine...... As long as he's not getting 25 minutes a night.......

Corbin would start him right away and play him 30 min per game benching Hayward LOL. The sad thing is I would not be surprised if that happened.

Playoffs are a whole different animal, so I'm very happy to hear we might have him. There have actually been a few games lately where I've thought we could use him...Maybe he could have done a better job on Eric Gordon or Mayo???

i agree, off the bench i think he would be a great contibuter! i think he would help bring some strength and consitancy to the bench. i think that is something that it is missing, someone off the bench usually comes up big for us. but we need someone who can always come in adn make an impact on the game. i think raja coulddo that. my only worry would be he would mess with the what we currently have going for us.

Remember when Raja was hot during first 20-25 games he was shooting great! But after the 1st injury he went ice cold. Same is here. Don't expect from him shoots falling.
