You dont have future in baskatball, nor in football, you don;t have the mentality, and you are and will stay loosers forever.

Nice try to change the subject just bcuz u got owned and cant back up ur argument prolly u also know Jonas suck.....

Okur = One time NBA Champion (2004), One time NBA All-Star(2007) one of the best bigman shooter in NBA history and Last time i checked nobody hated Okur in any team

Turkoglu = Carried orlando to NBA finals with Howard before he left orlando to sign with raptors, won MIP award, only Raptor fans hates Hedo bcuz he didnt wanna stay there

Omer Asik = One of the best bigman Defender in the NBA

Ersan Ilyasova = Prolly gonna win MIP award this year

Also theres so many young prospects like Furkan Aldemir,Dusan Cantekin and Deniz kilicli waiting to be drafted by NBA teams

And last time i remember our NT were 2rd in the last World Championship while urs failed to medal in their home in European Championship

And you wanna talk about Football ?

Turkey came 3rd in 2002 World cup, 3rd in 2008 European championship

Did Lithuania ever qualify for world cup or European championship in their history ?

Ever heard of Sabonis, Ilgauskas, Marciulionis? Lithuania's NT played only in period 1937-1939, and after occupation since 1990. Olympics- bronze in 1992, 1996 , 2000, EC- gold in 1937, 1939 , 2003 , silver 1995 ( f@@@ you Stankovich ), bronze 2007, Bronze in 2010 WC. And home WC silver won refs for you, not you. And our country population is less than 3 million, compared to turkey's 80 million. Pathetic. Owned again.

This, like most other competitions, will be decided who has the hottest women wearing the least amount of clothing. I suggest both of you post some pictures, starting with your sisters, and we'll go from there.

Most threads on here are a waste of time but this one may take the cake. Take your pissing match elsewhere.

I do wish that Kanter got more time. I think Favors should get more too. I am not the coach though and my job isn't on the line like Corbin's. He needs to win to keep his job and playing Milsap and Jefferson more than Kanter equals more wins. Maybe not in the long run but Corbin was thrown into the deep end and told to swim. He is trying his best to keep his head above the water.

Kanter should develop into a really good big man.

haha amused raps fan here. Ever heard of sabonis? the guy is in the hall of fame. Lithuanians can ball, basketball is part of their culture over there. Jonas will be fine, I don't see him starting next year though, I have a feeling he has a lot to learn.

Jonas will be good. But thats not what this thread is about. Can we talk about our guy without him being compared to the other european big man in the draft every....single....time.

I think it was one our our turkish trolls that brought him up anyways.

FYI Turks: We're aware Kanter isn't getting many minutes. Most of us wish he got more. Most of us really, really like his potential. Contrary to popular belief elsewhere, we do not set the rotations, nor condone everything (or even most) of what our coach / organization does. If you don't have anything constructive to say about Kanters development besides one of following:
1. He should play more,
2. The Jazz suck for not playing him more,
3. The Jazz should trade him,
4. Kanter is best player ever OMG, other europeans / big men / hall of famers are all subsumed by his superstar-ness,

then please, don't say anything at all. We like hearing good things about him, we don't like the insistence our franchise should throw everything else away because Kanter is a surefire MVP.

He acknowledged that he's a bit of a bull in a china shop right now but they like his direction. He's not going anywhere unless a superstar is involved.

+1 he's raw but I like what he's shown so far with the minutes he's getting.

kanter will be good in 2-3 years. Jonas will be good in 2-3 years too. The only of high drafted euro's last summer that makes me puzzled if he will ever be good is Vesely.

That was some pretty sad my-country-is-better-than-your-country smack. Jonas may or may not be be a great player. But until he shows up in the NBA and proves that he is You have no case.

I'm happy with what Kanter has done this season. As the playoff drive is approaching and into the playoffs (hopefully) you will see the rotation shorten. Partly because of injuries but also for consistency. Expect to see lots of the starters and main subs through the rest of the season.

Kanter will get his opportunities. Rookies are usually working on the transition to the NBA game but Kanter also had to deal with a year off from competition. I'm not worried about him at all in the long run.
