Thank God it was only a bruise. We really need him come playoff time. I might just sit him for a while and give some other guys playing time to let him recover fully and to give our bench the experience.

I did say in another thread that Memphis needed to give him some rest before the playoffs. But this wasn't how I intended it to be.

It's possible that Gasol could still get some rest within the last two to three games depending on how things are looking in the playoff race.
