how is it a clean hit when he left his feet and launched himself at the player?

Anyways Torres will get suspended and at the end Yotes will still win the series. If it wasn't for a lucky goal we'd be up 3-0.

I'm literally the only Hawks fan posting in this thread. You're just f***ing delusional.

It's amazing, I actually liked the Coyotes as a team a bunch before this series. Like...a lot.

Not anymore.

I'm not here to be liked and could care less what anyone thinks of me. I was defending Mike Smith because a previous poster was b*tching about Hawks player being suspended for 3 games. You charge a f*king goalie like that expect a suspension. As for Torres, that was a good hockey hit but I accept the suspension since the player was carried out on a stretcher. Had the player got up quickly we wouldn't talk about any suspensions. Like I said before, it is what it is.

Come on, the puck barely left and Torres hit him hard afterwards. Not like Torres kept punching him in the head 7 times like Senators player did over the weekend.

I have my own f*cking opinion, I don't need to justify myself. Seems like everyone on this Hockey board are friends with each other and are jumping on me for making valid facts.

Take it easy champ. Nobody is teaming up on you because you don't post here alot; you're getting talked about because you are making wild claims like the Torres hit was a clean hockey play. And the rest of us just happen to disagree

Search Torres' name on Twitter and you will read a zillion writers indicating he is the biggest prick in hockey right now. This isn't a message board point of view, this is an industry point of view.

He clearly waited behind Hossa lurking, waiting for the moment he wasn't expecting (and he wasn't expecting it because the play was already over), lept from his feet and specifically targeted Hossa's jaw and head. You know, exactly like he has done about four times within the last 18 months.

WEFFPIM Tidbit: Rangers and Senators going to overtime in Game 4. They will make the ninth 3-2 final of the postseason so far.

Senators give us the first assured Game 6 of the playoffs

I don't recall last time I've seen a team notch 10 goals in a playoff game? Do you think they should start Sergei Bobrovsky in net next game vs Penguins?

I'm kinda shocked that he's been around this long. He's not exactly good at anything outside of being a complete tool.

I would. Bryz has been beyond awful so far, almost as bad as Fleury.

Yeah, you're right. But this is a perfect team for Bryz because he needs a high scoring octane team to succeed. Put him on any other team and he'd be horrible. Like he was for Yotes previous two years against the Red Wings.

Seeing words like 'lurking' and 'play was over' regarding the Torres hit isn't accurate. Hossa had the puck, lost it, and then got hit a second or two later. Torres wasn't 'lurking' or 'stalking' Hossa up the ice, especially when he had possession of the puck.

I'm not condoning the hit, because he left his feet. However, had he not left his feet, I don't think there'd be any suspension of any kind for a late hit.

Had he not left his feet, he wouldn't have made contact with the head. He's not getting suspended for it being late. He's getting suspended because he launched himself into him.

Yep, I believe they were saying it's the end of the Luongo era in Vancouver but I don't see it. Schneider's going to get a lot of money and Luongo makes a ton for a backup so you have to trade him but who's going to take him? He's 33 and has a $6.7ish million salary for the next six years and a $5.3ish million cap hit. That's an albatross contract they're stuck with imo.
