New details emerge from WKMG-TV Sports Director David Pingalore's initial report Monday evening.

Pingalore has learned Wednesday from multiple NBA and Orlando Magic sources that center Dwight Howard called Magic Owner Rich DeVos Friday night, telling the 86-year-old that he will no longer play for Head Coach Stan Van Gundy.

Pingalore was told through sources that have direct knowledge of the call that it was taken in the DeVos suite at Amway Center by DeVos sometime during the Magic's game with the Atlanta Hawks.

Bad pr move for dwight if true. But to me, it tells me that Dwight's heart is really in Orlando and he will do everything in his power to get Stan fired so he can continue to be an Orlando Magic. I don't hate him for it (if true).

Please be right. That would most likely mean Stan's gone before the playoffs. It's Ping though, so he's most likely wrong. . .

Stan still sounds happy in this presser. Seriously Stan just pull Duhon and you'll be a lot happier!

Magic Fans might need to start a petition for Stan Van Gundy to give Ish Smith the backup point guard minutes instead of Chris Duhon.

The fact that a petition is needed says a lot about the coach.

All the Magic fans need to pack up Amway Center and make their voices heard. Anytime Doo-han hits the floor, the fans need to just yell out these glorious three words.

That's the problem with our bush league reporters, no one has any balls and never provides stats to Stan or calls him out on his BS about trusting Duhon.

No, he is joking. The fake quote is kinda accurate to what Stan would say about Duhon...

No need to make it so long, just ISH would work. If we can get Stay Dwight started, you'd figure the following of ditch chris would be bigger.
