Should LeBron sit vs. the Wizards?

Post#1 » by ecnirp » Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:49 am

Or will Wade rest again?

I understand preserving Wade. Because no point can put up points in a hurry like him. But LeBron needs a break imo. Rest him vs. Washington. Wade should be able to handle the Wizards. Then in the big game let LeBron play (I think its Boston?) Then let them play against Houston. You can rest Wade vs. the Wizards in the last game of the season.

He absolutely should. It would be great if Lebron sat for both Wiz games, and have him play against Boston of course, and maybe Houston too. There is no reason for him to play against the Wiz, Wade/Bosh will handle that with ease.

rest LBJ v. both wiz games, and houston.

wade and bosh should play the remaining games but the last wiz game. both of these guys need to get into superstar rhythm. they have to match lbj's production. you really can't depend on the role players too much. the big 3 really ahve to be the big 3 in the playoffs

 The acrobats Lebron does in attempt to save Chalmer's garbage lob's is simply amazing, yet highly dangerous. I fear for his safety quite frankly.

I hope he does. I think they should just play Bosh. Let Wade and LeBron rest for Boston.

It should be his decision. I think we need one of the big 3 in that game though. There is too much on the line to risk it.

I want to win out. I want that #1 seed. More so in the Finals than against Chicago. I do NOT want to have to go into OKC to start the Finals.

Personally I think he will be fine. He can sleep walk through the first three quarters of the Wiz game and rest in the fourth quarter. If we play Wade and Bosh too, maybe they can all sit almost the entire second half.

Every game is just as important as the next. I know the Wizards suck, but they did just beat the Bulls. We lose this game, kiss homecourt goodbye.

LeBron should sit and rest against Washington, he's deserved it. He needs to be on the bench, anyway, so people from the league office can come down and ask him for his information to put on the front of his 3rd MVP Trophy. :)

Yes. Wade needs to play and Lebron should sit.

Wade needs to share the rest moments. I know he feels these **** teams aren't worthy of his presence but, he has to play those games. You're not getting Roger Clemons treatment yet Mr. Wade.

I think its Spo saying, its not worth losing our finisher, and at times best player on the floor to an injury, or get worn out playing against these scrubs.

Just play Bosh, if that team can beat ATL they can beat the Wizards.

Lebron should sit out the 2 Wiz games, but it won't happen. Should have lost against the Bulls yesterday. Now he got an excuse to play Lebron 45mins for the last 4 games.

I'd sit him for the both Wizards games, but would play him if HCA was still available in the second game. Definitely for this upcoming one though. Wade and Bosh are more than enough. Plus, I think it'd be good for those two to have an opportunity to solely play off each other.

Anyone know the breakdown of rest days before and during the playoffs this year? I would imagine there would be some truncation due to the compressed schedule

It does seems like he's playing a lot, but he's actually playing a career low in minutes. But I do think he needs some rest down the stretch. Maybe like the Raptors game, kill it in the first 3 quarters and put it out of reach and sit the 4th.
