Would you guys be interested in this deal..
At the 4-6 Draft Range Ant Davis, Michael Gilchrist and Thomas Robinson are all going to be off the board..all players that would fit in perfectly with the Kings. Pairing Andre Drummond with Cousins would be a disaster (2 immature kids) and Harrison Barnes, Jared Sullinger, Brad Beal, Jeremy Lamb are all scorers who need high volume shots to be effective..opposite of what this team needs now.
Tyreke Evans, John Salmons contract, Terrence Williams and your First for Evan Turner, Thaddeus Young, Craig Brackins and Sixers first (14-16) range.
With that pick you will beable to select a defensive minded big man like John Henson to pair with Cousins.
Thad Young is probably the 3rd best bench option in the league minus his teamate Lou Williams and James Harden (who is basically a starter). He could play the 3 and be a mismatch at the 4 if Jason Thompson asks for more than hes worth. Not to mention he is an upgrade over T-Will, who is a pretty decent player himself.
Evan Turner puts up ridiculous stat lines whenever he plays 30+ mpg but for whatever reason Doug Collins prefers Iguodala extremely over him. He would easily be one of the best facilitators on the roster and rebounds at a extremely high rate for a guard. Unlike Evans, he can also play the 3 and 2 effectively.
The Sixers need a go to player on a team stocked with Role players..bringing Tyreke back home might be the spark both he and Philadelphia needs. We are not going to go anywhere but a first round exit with Andre Iguodala and Lou Williams being our star players.
C. Cousins/FA(Dalembert)/Whiteside
F. Henson/Hayes
F. Turner/Thad Young/Honeycutt
G. Thornton/Garcia
G. I.Thomas/Jimmer

Re: Evan Turner..
THis is a bad trade for the kings.
IF we are to look at Tyreke for Turner straight up the kings lose that trade by a decent amount.
THen if we look at Trading down to the 76ers pick for swaping Young and Salmons the kings lose that.
THen if we look at WIlliams for Brackins the kings lose that portion as well.
SOOOOOOOO I don't see any benefit to doing this trade for the kings.
Try swapping brackins for Holiday and then the kings might consider it.

Wait, so it's:
Reke,
Salmons,
TWill,
+ pick
Turner,
Young,
Brackins,
+ pick
LOL
There is no way we are going to downgrade from a top-5 pick (projected to be #4) for a late lotto and lesser talent. Salmons is the likely candidate for amnesty. So, you are not doing us a favor in that regard.
You have to sweeten the pot for the Kings to even consider trading the pick (let alone adding both Reke & TWill into the mix).

Still no.
Iggy < pick
Reke + Hayes > Young + pick
To me, the Kings' pick is the best asset/value out of this package. Iggy is a tad expensive and doesn't really addresses our need for shooting in the first unit (although Iggy >> anyone we have at the SF).
If anything, I would rather opt to the trade in the trade board where we trade Reke for Granger and the pick for Lowry (or for Rondo). Your trade does not trump that.

Agree there. Lowry would be perfect for you guys, but with Houstons tendency to not resign players its looking more like Dragic is going to bolt for a team with Cap space like Portland or Utah.
I previously posted a trade for Rondo on the Celtics board that has some mixed decisions, most in favor for the deal.
Reke, I.T and our first for Rondo and their first.
I just think the Kings should take advantage and move this pick for a quality all star caliber veteran.

You really like to ship Reke out don't ya??
I think
#4 + anyone not named Cousins/Reke/Thornton for Rondo is more than enough imo.
No need to add Reke or Celtic's pick.

Re: Evan Turner..
Yeah, I mean look at the trade, you have the Kings giving up the two best pieces in the deal with Evans and the pick. That's when you know a trade is bad. You either better really, really like Turner and think he'll blow up into a superstar because if not you just gave away two of your best trade assets.
If Tyreke is not on the team the Kings probably need a Sullinger, Barnes, Beal, or Lamb, because they are going to need to make up for that lost production somehow.

Rondo and Evans TOGETHER? Are you people insane? That would never work. In that case,
evans would have to be shipped out somewhere.
