I'd take Bayless over Brooks.

Dragic pick up seems unlikely by the FO.

If the Lakers sign Brooks for the rest of the season would the Suns match?

Our FO would never admit to that mistake.

Emiliano Carchia ‏ @SportandoBasket

Reported earlier today: Olimpia Milano made an offer to Aaron Brooks to finish the season in Italy. Former Suns turned it down

Irregardless of how badly our front office screwed this deal up, We absolutely have to retain him as an asset going forward. In this market, he just has too much value to let him go for nothing at this point!

We'll issue the QO.... then wait and see who bites. This is his first deal off his rookie contract and it sounds like he expects a chunk. I think he mentioned Mike Conley money.... which is more than I'd give him. The little chucker bailed on us for a temp job in China... and now he is the one player in the league stuck in a 'cant be traded' limbo.

You dont chase bad money with good. The FO already admitted that trade didnt work out. We lost a draft pick is all, for Dragic would be/is an unrestricted FA. I'd rather pay Goran 'Conley type' money than Brooks.

So no, I dont think we have to do anything with AB negative.
But there will be a 3 day window of babbling about Brooks, once he receives an offer from another.

It will be interesting to see how many teams are going to be after Dragic. Someone posted a thread on the general board asking if people thought THEIR team would be going for Dragic.

And there were fans from a bunch of teams thinking their team would make a run for him. I'm sure we've all heard the Portland rumors. But Indiana fans think they will go for him. If NJ doesn't keep DWill, they will probably make a major run for Dragic, and likewise for Dallas if they don't get DWill (I used to think Cuban would go for Nash if they missed out on DWill, but with the emergence of Dragic, I bet Cuban would rather go for him with long term thinking).

Also, Sessions can opt out of his player option and likely make more...he would likely be really good in our offensive system (if we kept it.)

I personally would (if i was the g.m.) Just to spite them of course! However They still can resign sessions right? And with what he brings to their team, (passing and playmaking)he's far more valuable for them than brooks i think.

Cuz let's be honest! You know kobe ain't there to pass the ball once he gets it!Sharing is not really a part of his game!I could just see him and brooks fighting over who gets to take more shots and all.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

Terrible trade, but we must forget it and move along with the future.... and that means not re-signing Brooks.

Sometimes the best solution is to sweep it under the rug, forget about it, and step on it over and over again until it's has disintergrated to a molecular scale.
