Coincidence? Wonder what would have happened if he was on the 60 win Magic squad.

Lebron James once again coming up small down the stretch with a missed free throw that would have put the game out of reach.

With the 2nd seed virtually guaranteed, the Heat better hope the Celtics don't secure the no. 3 seed.

The Heat can ill afford getting into a street fight against the Celtics and then face the Bulls with homecourt advantage.

Heat only score 2 points in OT while the Bulls put up 12.

And the Bulls reserve unit is better than most teams... man, I'm jealous. They are clearly the best team in the East once Rose shakes off his rust and plays under control.

Rose went 1-13 and the Bulls still won. That is definitely a body blow to the Heat.

Howard out with a herniated disc. OUCH.

Looks like we can finally get a look at Daniel Orton and Justin Harper.

LeBJ outscores Nets 15-5 in last 2:48 for a narrow Heat win in NJ. That was some Hail Mary.

They were up 100-50. Doubled their score after at the end of the 3rd quarter.

At least we haven't had a punking that bad yet.

Yeah, Pistons are whipping up on a team that's barely above D-League and...oh wait...forget it.

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=320418006

38 year old Marcus Camby grabs 17 rebounds. He grabbed 18 on Fri 4/13. His high for the year was 22.

That is kind of amazing.

Nice to see Jerome Dyson - who I pimped as a 2nd rounder a couple years ago when he was playing at UConn with Kemba Walker - make the most of his shot in the NBA - for 1 game, anyway. 24 points on 5 for 7 shooting and... 14 of 16 foul shots. Also 3 steals. He can be a real hound on defense when he's concentrating. Tweener guard with tremendous speed with the ball, a strong build - just lacking in discipline and jump shooting.

Yep. He'll be a good PG for NO. I think he's better than Vasquez and should be starting over him. And he's better than Mack.

Weird night, the Knicks blow us out but lose to the D-League Cavs team. Manny Harris was huge for them. As people often say on the board, the SG position is the easiest one to fill.

Marvin Williams epic fail on ATL's failed game-winner, could have easily pulled-up for a jumper instead going for the dunk.

Well we've probably seen the last of the basketball player formerly known as Ron Artest this year.

Disgusting.

I hope we've seen the last of him, ever. He should be banned from the NBA after that. He could have permanently damaged or even killed Harden.

You're right about the damage, but I just looked at it three times and I still can't tell if he even knew what he was about to do. Not a fan of Artest's antics, but it looked more stupid and negligent than malicious. He is a little crazy though, so who knows?

What's the word on Harden?

it was arguably the worst foul I've seen in recent memory. That being said, I don't think Artest actually meant to level harden. He should be banned for the rest of the season, and maybe part of next season. He was too hype after that play, Harden was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I doubt the NBA can curtail "violent celebrations." Sad to say but I hope its nothing worse than a concussion for Harden.
