Agreed. He deserves to sit out a few games, but some of you guys got your panties all bunched up.

If the elbow was cause they were fighting for a rebound, a foul o something like that, it's ok, 1 or 2 games and that's it. Even if it's a fight, ok, suspension, but you understand it.
But this was madness. Harden did absolutly nothing to MWP.
Cause of this and his record, i hope 2012 is over for him.

Depraved heart murder for sure

I don't think it was intentional either in that he was trying to hit him in the head. I think he was caught up in the moment, swung his elbows recklessly to send Harden a little message, but I don't think he was trying to hit him in the head. The fact that it connected and actually injured Harden is significant.

It was unbelievably stupid on Ron's part, and although I'm a Laker fan, I'm fine with whatever the league wants to do.

Is he talking about the time Marc hit him with open hand? If so, then Ron is officially starting to piss people off.

btw to anyone thinking Ron's elbow wasn't a serious, Ron just told you that get slapped without a wind up was enough to ring his bell. An elbow with a wind up is far FAR more painful.

People need to stop comparing this incident to others.

This isn't the 80's or 90's. We now know far more about the hazards of head injuries, especially concussions. THis is way more severe there than.

Furthermore, all the videos and other examples of people getting elbowed.... all those are during play. I haven't seen one clip of someone blatantly throwing an elbow at someone else's head during basically a dead ball situation.

THANK YOU!

people don't understand (especially in the lakers game thread)-all it takes it a hard hit to the temple for very severe reprocussions.

Guys come back from being knocked out all the time. And that's in boxing and MMA. Harden wouldn't have any trouble playing basketball.

After a mandatory break depending on the severity of the concussion of up to 6 months.

Not counting the brawl, he's been suspended 11 times for a total of 23 games. Here's the link that goes back through 1994, find me another player who's been suspended 12 times

:nonono: to all those people who claim that Harden flopped. Have you ever been hit? Do you think that people can completely freeze their bodies when they hit the ground in order to not be considered "floppers".

Not daft at all my dude. Have common sense, have a degree, and have been watching the NBA for a long time. Just have a different opinion than you do. Deal with it.

why is that funny? there is truth to that. incorrect spelling is an easy way to spot insincerity in online writing.
