I've never been so disappointed about the Warriors. This is what it must feel to lose the NBA finals in game 7.

Wrong. New Jersey plays Toronto. If we lose out we're guaranteed to be tied at 7th/8th

I can guarantee you that we win one more and maybe even both. NO is also tanking and San Antonio will rest every starter they have in the last game. We absolutely needed to lose this game.

This franchise is garbage.

This is a tough blow to the tank, but, not a death blow. She's still rolling.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Either Stern guaranteed us a top 3 pick thanks to lacob or our franchise is the worst ever.

NO isn't tanking and SA's scrubs are capable of beating us, but I agree we'll likely win one more game. We'll need wins from the other tank teams to have any chance at a top 7 slot.

I agree completely. I think they'll win at least one more and ruin their chances completely. Others on this board were delusional enough to think we were gonna lose out.

I don't blame Rush at all. He's not going to tank. This falls on Mark Jackson and Joe Lacob.

Laocb screwed up by tanking so late in the season and Jackson messed up by continuing to play Jenkins and rush when they were hot.

The only way to tank is to put out the worst players possible and have a crappy coach. We have done that perfectly since the Monta trade. And the record has shown that. We can't expect players to purposely play bad. They have contracts and respect on the line, and I understand that.

The error was waiting so long to realize that playoffs were not a possibility and pulling the trigger on a Monta deal sooner (assuming one was available).

And that wolves team was awful today. The only thing I can think to do would have been to bench Jenkins after the knee incident and then say "didn't want to risk anything at this point in the season". And actually, with Jackson already been given the keys for next year, he should have effing done that.

I have zero blame on the players. Love that they are playing hard.

Jackson has been a part of the tank simply by being a bad coach. Now he actually has a chance to help it on purpose and he doesnt.

Are you guys kidding?!

Management is giving taking a red hot go... They have closed down 4 players. Since deciding to trade Ellis, they have been more committed to the tank than any other NBA team management.

You cant blame the players either. These guys are professionals and they arent going to play poorly for some rookie that they do not even know who may come in and take their PT next year. Every guy on the team is either striving for more playing time or playing for a contract next year

Exactly. No players or coaches ever tank.

Again, if we lose the pick the person to blame is LARRY RILEY.

Riley lowered the pick from top 11 protected to top 7 for NOTHING

Bizzy_Bee has it right. Jackson and players are going to play to win, and they should.

If the pick is lost, that's on the front office.
