The way i see it and i honestly believe this, a lot of youngsters get away with too much talking and doing too many chippy little things without getting a elbow in the skull. I bet Harden wont be purposefully getting in peoples way now or think twice before he thinks he has the right to talk some junk to a vet.
Could not believe it when i saw him jive talking with Kobe the other week, Harden you're a good player but really, you're trying to get in the grill of a guy whose got nearly 30 thousand points and 5 rings
I agree to an extent, that is to say, I liked the idea behind the elbow (to the chest or arm etc...) in order to send a message to "step off and back up", but the actual manner in which things played out was unfortunate and awful. Great idea, horrendous execution IMO.
As for Ron, a lot of folks bring up his past but I'm curious, aside from the one game suspension last year against Dallas when was the last time he was suspended for an on-court altercation?
