I think he's done for at least the first round, hopefully he's done for the year and possibly his career. You just don't do that, clearing space or not it was a blow to the head. It's not a flagrant 2 where the guy gets back up shoots his free throws as the game continues. He put Harden out with a concussion.
Pro sports take these concussions very serious. That's why the NBA changed it's policy and it's rules, any play not on the ball to the head is serious because what happened today is exactly what they are trying to avoid.
No doubt in my mind, that was intentional and he was trying to hurt th guy. Harden was destroying the Lakers as usual and if he's not taken out the game the Thunder win. Metta came in with the cheap shot and I hope he gets what he deserves.
This is not about the Lakers, it's about respecting the rules, the league and your fellow co-workers.
