yayareaa wrote:why was Harden running into MWP when he was celebrating his dunk?
He was 3 feet away from him before Artest even starting celebrating.

He would have literally flopped to death

It's different because it's Artest. Bynum is a sore loser and an ass. He will make a dirty play when he loses. But at least he will think.
RonRon is not an ass. He is just not sane enough to play in the league.

why didn't he stay 3 feet away from Artest?

Because that's totally the question we should be asking...

People here seem to think he should be suspended for the rest of the season. Lakers fans seem to think something around Bynum's suspension, for his hit on JJ. As with all things, I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. A suspension of around 10 games would be sufficient for me, mainly for his prior history.

An elbow to the side of the head that resulted in a concussion isn't serious?

Go to 0:56. Clearly shows Harden sliding over to make contact with Artest. Why is he doing that?

It's true. I was reading up on the Palace brawl and he actually asked his teammates if they were going to get in trouble for their actions after it was over...he truly is either extremely stupid or extremely insane, or both.

But at the same time there have been several Laker fans not praising what Metta did, and it's no reason to say he didn't intend to do it or he did intend to do it, because no one here is qualified enough to psycho analyze Metta. We don't know what the hell he was thinking coming out of that bucket he scored. The only thing we know is that he was fired up as hell, guys here killing Metta but why the f**k did Harden even put himself in front of a man known to explode ?
See no one can answer this, all I keep seeing is...." he was getting ready for the inbound pass", that bull sh*t. Because not one Thunder player was even standing out of bounds yet, so that's just some asinine thinking. But this thread has been over blown and it's never going to be a balance to agree on what played out.

He took one step? Maybe a screen for a quick outlet to Durant? Who knows? And honestly who cares. It's basketball and these types of interactions with players bumping into each other happens every game after a shot is made. How are Laker fans trying to justify this? It's a swinging elbow to the back of the head END OF STORY. 15-20 game suspension
