When we first signed him, I thought it would be a huge pick-up, but he's been pretty bad for the most part. And I truly hope no one replies to me saying "look at his numbers the last month." Because I will reply, "Look at the W/L record with him as the starter." I know he's been forced into a role that doesn't suit him, but he just hasn't been a good fit.

And I will reply, "Five of our top six scorers have missed time in that stretch (the sixth guy is him)"

I don't understand the hate for Ellington. He's a third string SG who plays like a third string SG.

JJ is what he is as a player, he's going to take bad shots, he's going to throw bad passes. But he's also going to put some pressure on the defense with his fearlessness in going into the paint, something we need.

He may overrate his own skill level, but pretty much 80% of the league does as well. He plays hard, he's a competitor, so I'm going to overlook more of his faults cause I know at least he's bringing it out there pretty much every game, every play. There are quite a few guys I don't get that vibe from on this team and I think JJ had a right to call them out.

Possible? I guess technically. Within the realm of likelyhood? Hell no.

I'd trade Derrick for Beal. I think Beal is the second best player in the draft. But we'd have to sweeten the pot, and I'm tired of rookies.

Each of the influential guys on this team has their own point guard. David Kahn has Ricky Rubio, Rick Adelman has JJ Barea, Kevin Love has Luke Ridnour. I definitely see all three back
