or not.

I'm disappointed in Gortat, he's really not strong enough or tough enough - we need to pair him with a Millsap or Brandon Bass type.

would you want to overpay to get Bass? ive wanted Millsap for 2 years now just dont see a way to get him.

Reggie Evans or OLD K.Mart??? maybe

'
Nope - dont want us to overpay anyone. Millsap we probably could have got if we took harris as well - they still may want to unload him.

Bass is at $4.25m - not really overpaid at all. But he's got another year on his deal and I'd expect him to get a raise next time. I'm sure he expects it too

Love Reggie Evans

Put Evans with an outside shooting big and keep the lane open for Nash.
Is he on a one year deal with LA?

Speaking of Frye - I've always stood up for him. Works hard at both ends, has really started to use the drive to keep defenses honest. Smart player.

I was impressed with RYan Anderson - he really battles, tough player.

Even though the obvious answer is Morris, Gentry is pretty ****** so wouldn't surprise me if he went with Warrick at PF...or even Childress!

I would go with Morris and then let Childress play backup. Warrick shouldn't even touch the floor. I mean, last year we used him as pick n roll partner for nash but now that we have gortat he isn't even useful in that sense.

Childress can't play the 4, unless Don nelson is coaching

He couldn't possibly do a worse job than Warrick, or could he...?

I think when we first got Chilldress he did some spot minutes at the four, and according to Los Soles, Dudley at the four has shown some success statistically. I don't think I would start him there, but coming off the bench instead of Warrick, I might.

If Hill can play, you could run a second unit where Chilldress and Hill are the three and four, and switch off on defense if needed. Honestly, on offense, I would have Telfair drive the basket, and have Chilldress follow right behind to clean up any missed shot, sort of like Lou did when LB would drive the basket. It would be an interesting second unit of Telfair, Redd, Hill, Chilldress, and Lopez. Lopez has stepped up his defense recently, so the lineup wouldn't be bad defensively, only maybe with Redd.

After watching Warrick start the third the other night, and the Suns go from down two to down seventeen, or something like that, I really don't want to see Warrick playing anymore.

I think it is becoming more and more obvious that we should roll with

Nash/Brown/Dudley/Morris/Gortat
Telfair/Redd/Hill/Childress/Lopez

That second unit would have some awesome defense (minus Redd). Hill can create his own, Telfair can hopefully make his jumpers, Childress can slash, Redd & Lopez can post up.

Great thought! Childress did that last game on his own, I can image his impact going up significantly if Suns ran some designated plays with this strategy.

We miss so many easy layups, it should be run with every guy that drives the basket. :( It is just terrible how Chilldress is used on offense. If he doesn't go off the script, he is just stuck on the three point line, waiting for a pass, knowing he is not a threat from there.

Not trying to justify for Warrick but does anyone else remember that his very first game with the Suns was vs Jazz and he EXPLODED in that game...had like 30 something points and was just straight up killing it!

One of the only times he and Nash had decent playing time together.

Another time was the 34 against Houston.

I wouldnt mind starting Warrick.
